Sugar Suede Secret Matte Lipcolour| Review & Swatches

Sugar Cosmetics has launched the Suede Secret Matte Lipcolor in 10 gorgeous shades and now adding 10 more new shades in the range. I got opportunity to try 5 shades from this new launch and in this post I will be talking about them. I don’t know why but I have a strong feeling that in this post I will be sounding a bit boring 😉

14 Tartan Tangerine [ Orange with hints of red ]

Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Petrolatum, Isododecane, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Mica, VP/Eicosene Copolymer, Paraffin, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil [Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil], Butyrospermum Parkii Butter [Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter ], Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Tribehenin, Sorbitan Isostearate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide, Phenoxyethanol, Tropolone, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491 (Iron Oxides), CI 15850 (Red 7 Lake), CI 42090 (Blue 1 Lake).

Direction of use: Gently remove the excess from the applicator first. Use its curved tip to apply the liquid lipstick like a liner. Then swipe the lipstick on to fill in your lips.

Packaging: Each lipcolor comes with the regular Sugar abstract themed outer carton cardboard box. All the required details provided on the card board box. The actual product comes in frosted tube of lipstick with a matte black screw cap. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the tube 🙂 The lipcolor has a regular slanted doe-foot applicator.

The length of the applicator stick is neither too short nor too long; it’s just so impeccable for a better grip and perfect application, especially on the corners of your lips. Overall Sugar never disappoints when it comes about packaging 💗💗

My opinion about the products: These lipcolors are different from the previous Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipsticks. These lipcolors give a velvety matte finish as compared to the Smudge Me Not Liquid lipstick range which gives an ultra dry matte finish. These are non-drying and are very comfortable on the lips. The formula takes approx. 3-4 minutes to dry completely & stays for 6 to 7 hours.

These lipcolors don’t transfer but with heavy meals start fading from the center and you need to re-apply. It doesn’t leave a strong stain behind (I hate lip stain) .They are amazingly pigmented & single swipe gives full coverage. I personally like all the shades & all are like must have ones for me. You may find them bit pricey but for me these are worth buying 🙂

Rayon Rose (11): It is a beautiful dusty brick rose kind of shade.

Linen Lilac (12): It is a very vibrant mauve shade.

Nylon Nude (13): It is a true nude with light hint of pink. It would suit all fair to medium skin tones.

Tartan Tangerine (14): is a bright tangy orange shade. It looks way too bright in the first but once it dries down, it gives a beautiful summery vibe.

Fleece Fuschia(15): It is again a bright fuchsia color. A shade which will instantly glam up your whole look.
