Lakme Lumi Cream Moisturizer With Highlighter| Review

You must have noticed the advertisement of Ananya Pandey where she claims that the product she has applied is a moisturizer and the stylist (not sure about the name) says ” its a highlighter”. So basically it is an advertisement of the product which works as both; a moisturizer and as a highlighter. Aur kya chahiye zindagi mein, hume jahaan ek ke  daam mein do products mil rahae hon (Sorry for copying your writing style Anji. But there is a difference between our writing style. You write hindi in hindi fonts and I in English 😉 ) In this post I am reviewing Lakme Lumi Cream Moisturizer With Highlighter. Buying this product is wastage of your money, to know the reason do read my review 😉

How to use it:

Packaging: This cream cum highlighter comes in a sleek and elegant packaging that reflects the brand’s commitment to sophistication. The cream is housed in a sturdy tube, which makes it convenient and hygienic to use. The tube features a flip-top cap, allowing for controlled dispensing and minimizing product wastage. This tube comes in  a white colored glossy cardboard box which has all the required details related to the product 🙂 The packaging is compact and travel-friendly, making it easy to carry in your handbag or luggage.

My opinion about the product: This cream is baby pink in color and has a very horrible (hard to define) fragrance. It  has a lightweight and silky texture that glides smoothly onto the skin. It blends effortlessly and absorbs quickly, leaving no greasy or sticky residue behind. The cream provides an instant boost of hydration, making the skin feel soft and supple. But the hydration is not sufficient enough to keep your skin hydrated for a long time. Your skin may feel patchy if you have a dry skin. I have an oily skin so this will work in summers but I doubt about the winters.

The best way is to use it mixing with any other cream or moisturizer. If you have dry skin then best way is to avoid applying this cream directly on your face.  This cream has silver highlighting particles in it so, if you are a warm skin tone beauty then instead of brightening it up it will make you look dull & pale. I personally feel silver highlighting  particles are not meant for our Indian skin tone, it is better to have golden particles in it 🙂 Looks weird re! Brand is marketing it as a cream (moisturizer with highlighter) but it can be kept in the category of highlighter only. The cream/moisturizer tag seems like on weaker side for this product.

I may sound harsh (sorry for that) but will definitely not recommend this to anyone neither I will be buying it again in future.
