St. Ive’s Rich and Creamy Vanilla Body Wash| Review

Apart from the love for cosmetics I love playing with different varieties of body washes and lotions since I am not a big fan of commercial soaps and I prefer using handmade soaps comparatively. So I keep trying different variants and different brands to experience the luxury. For the first time I laid my hands on a body wash for the second time. Let’s see if it’s worth it.

Packaging: It comes in a very basic Packaging. A big cream colored see through plastic container which has a flip cap and a small nozzle which dispenses right amount of product and sometimes when presses with more pressure tends to leave you with more product than required. It has all the important details printed on its body which we always appreciate about. I don’t think its travel- friendly because of its huge size and I don’t remember seeing anything of same variant in a smaller bottle.

More about the product: Body wash has a runny consistency which is neither too thick nor watery. It looks cream in color and got slight gel like texture to it. It is one of the body washes which works well with loofah and makes you feel squeaky clean without making your skin oily. One disappointing factor was that it was strongly smelling of cocoa and hardly anything like vanilla and like every other body wash the smell doesn’t lasts long and I think you can build it up with using body lotion of same variant. But there were few days where even after many hours I was able to smell a very light hint of vanilla on my body. So I think we can definitely give a good score for the product for that fact.

And it lathers well which is also due to the presence of SLS which is a big letdown for this product. But still for some reason I loved the product, maybe cocoa fragrance was also one among the reasons. Post usage I never felt the product making my skin dry still there was no noticeable moisturizing effect also. Also product lasts for a long time since you might need very little of it to use.
