Hello Girlies..!!
Recently I was hearing a lot about Sri Sri products from lot of my friends and wanted to try out the same. I thought of giving a try on their coconut oil, because that’s like one thing which I use like on a daily basis, literally! Ever since my childhood I had always been using the Parachute Coconut oil, and had actually no complains. But yes, just to try out this brand thought of trying the oil, which is like the very basic thing!!
Ingredients:
Price: MRP is Rs. 150 (I have seen it to be at Rs. 135 at times of offer)
Quantity: 100 ml
Shelf life: 2 years
Packaging: The product comes in a transparent plastic bottle, with a spill proof packaging. It has a cap and then there is another plastic cover which has an indentation which you can punch in and make a hole into. Nothing fancy about the packaging, very plain and simple but yes spill proof, which is the utmost requirement for any oil bottle.
My opinion about the product: Honestly speaking before buying this coconut oil, I never knew the difference between virgin coconut oil and a normal coconut oil. But when I saw that this one was virgin coconut oil, I researched a bit and found out that: virgin coconut oil has more of antioxidant punch in it that normal coconut oil and also it does not get exposed to any chemicals and bleach that are necessary in refining process of regular coconut oil. Thus over all if we see, virgin coconut oil is a better choice over a regular coconut oil.
Thus I was happy to have it, which is an organic virgin coconut oil. I also read that virgin coconut oils have that authentic coconut oil smell and this oil actually does have that smell. It gets absorbed well and acts as a very good makeup remover as well. I actually never had complains regarding by forever Parachute oil too, but after reading the benefits of virgin coconut oil over regular coconut oil, I feel like sticking to this one only!
I was little hesitant initially because the price is of course more than the regular coconut oil, but then after reading about the benefits of virgin oil over regular oil I got convinced!
What I like about this product….
- It is organic, and cold-pressed,
- It is virgin coconut oil, which has a lot of added advantages over regular coconut oil,
- Price is low as compared to other brand’s virgin coconut oil,
- Has a very nice and that authentic coconut smell,
- Gets absorbed in skin well,
- Can be used as a body oil/make-up remover etc.
What I don’t like about this product….
- Price is little on the higher side as compared to regular coconut oil, but it is actually cheap than many other brand’s virgin coconut oil.
I would rate it 4/5. And I would recommend to all to go for virgin coconut oil, as it is more enriched in vitamin E, antioxidants and other good things than a regular coconut oil!!
