In this post, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the Aqualogica Hydrate+ Gel Moisturizer infused with Coconut Water and Hyaluronic Acid. This product was part of my recent YOTO Box order, as mentioned in my previous review, which you can find Here. A gel moisturizer, characterized by its lightweight and water-based formula, is specifically crafted to offer skin hydration without the burden of a heavy or greasy sensation. Ideal for diverse skin types, including oily or combination skin, these moisturizers are often oil-free and boast quick absorption, contributing to keeping the skin hydrated, smooth, and revitalized.
Given my oily skin type, finding a product that can maintain a oil-free complexion while nourishing the skin during winter is truly a delight. With high expectations, I eagerly tried out this product.

Featuring a combination of Hyaluronic Acid and Coconut Water, it offers deep hydration, making it ideal for teenagers with acne-prone skin. The oil-free formula is suitable for all skin types, including normal, dry, oily, combination, and sensitive skin, with a guarantee of no itching or irritation.
This gel-based moisturizer boasts a lightweight and fast-absorbing texture, seamlessly blending with the skin without any sticky residue. Its unique formula penetrates the skin, ensuring hydration and moisture throughout the day and night. Additionally, the moisturizer provides a cooling and soothing effect, addressing dryness and sensitivity, leaving your skin refreshed and revitalized.
How to use it: Begin your skincare routine by cleansing your face with Aqualogica Hydrate+ Gel Face Wash. Following this, dispense an appropriate amount of Aqualogica Hydrate+ Gel Face Moisturizer and gently apply it to your face and neck. Massage in a clockwise motion until the moisturizer is fully absorbed into the skin. This routine is recommended for both morning and night use, either on its own or as a base for makeup. Here’s a pro-tip: Prioritize your skin protection by applying sunscreen after using the gel moisturizer.
Packaging: Encased in a compact white plastic jar with a matching screw cap, this gel is conveniently packaged for travel. Designed in a sample size, the jar is exceptionally travel-friendly. The outer packaging consists of a cardboard box, housing the petite jar, and providing comprehensive details about the product. Cute coconuts are printed all over the inner layer of the cardboard box. The only adornment on the jar is a brand name sticker. The packaging is simple and cute 🙂
My opinion about the product: The actual product is light green colored gel. Being a gel moisturizer, it has a lightweight and non-greasy texture, making it suitable for various skin types, especially those prone to oiliness. Feel like you are dipping your fingers in the water. Initially, I harbored skepticism about its effectiveness, but my doubts were swiftly dispelled. To my pleasant surprise, this gel provides exceptional hydration; honestly, I wasn’t anticipating this level of moisturization from it. I am using it in morning time these days but in summers will be using it twice in a day. It is winters here and in night time I am applying Mama cold cream.
Given my sensitive skin, I notice a distinct sensation when I apply the gel. It’s not a burning or cooling feeling, but it’s definitely a subtle presence on my face. This sensation gradually fades, and the gel smoothly absorbs into the skin. Once it settles, my skin takes on a natural look, as if I haven’t applied anything at all. I adore the radiant glow it imparts, making it a fantastic addition to my routine. It also serves well as a base before applying makeup. I will highly recommend it for humid climates as they don’t contribute to excess oiliness and can help control shine throughout the day. While the brand doesn’t make additional claims beyond hydration, I wasn’t expecting anything more.
