We are just getting over from the winter season and Surprisingly one of the leading online Beauty e-commerce retailer brands “Nykaa” has come with their new launch. That is their new series of lip balms named as “Serial Kisser “(quite interesting J ) and I didn’t expect this to be coming since they recently launched their another lip balm series of “Macaroon” ones which can be given a shot at least to its cute packaging. Now coming back to our serial kisser, let’s see if it justifies its duties or not.

Packaging: I am really in love with the packaging especially the “Pina Colada “ variant as it comes in a lemon yellow and white striped packaging which is absolutely sleek and cute. For its price range I really appreciate this. And one more round of applause for its twist up factor as I am not a very big fan of pot packaging as I feel it’s unhygienic. One more good thing that it has its expiry dated printed on the body of the product which is definitely appreciable.
Formula: I feel it is one of the best formulas for a lip balm as it glides on easily on the lips providing a smooth buttery finish. I can’t restrict from reapplying it now and then only to experience the soft finish. It is not like other waxy lip balms which provides a thick layer of coating on your lips.
Colour: This is something like magic in a perspective of kid’s way. Because when you open up the product you get to see the yellow product and I was wondering if my lips are going to be yellow but Surprise, it’s not tinted one and has no colour. I never owned a non-tinted lip balm all these years and this got to be the first and best thing
Fragrance: Ask me how it smells and I will keep talking for the rest of the life. As the name says it has a mild fragrance of Pine apple which is very refreshing and it vanishes away in no time which I didn’t like. I was expecting it to be lingering around at least for 30 minutes but it didn’t. But that’s fine, I can reopen the product and sniff it.
Longevity: It stays for at least 3 hours and I don’t think it will fare more than that. If you have extremely dry lips then I don’t think this is the right choice. I personally prefer using it before going to bed as part of my night care routine or before applying matte lipsticks since it feels smooth and keeps me hydrated for some time.
Overall Verdict: I will definitely recommend this product since I feel it to be affordable, travel friendly and with promising ingredients like Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil and Vitamin E. It can be an add on product for sure along with your other favorite lip balms.
