If you are the one who is used to heavy makeup or even the one who uses waterproof makeup, often, face wash isn’t sufficient to take off the makeup even after multiple wash. This is when a cleansing balm or a makeup removing balm or even makeup removing oil comes handy. Additionally, if you have acne prone skin type, its always advisable to use a makeup removing balm or oil to deep cleanse your face before you hit the bed. So, in today’s post, I am going to talk about Clinique Take the Day Off Charcoal Balm which is one of the most A-M-A-Z-I-N-G makeup removing balm that I have ever come across.

Packaging: The Clinique Take The Day Off Charcoal Balm comes in a small cute tub which makes it very travel friendly!
My opinion about the product: I have tried a couple of makeup removing balms, but this one has to be my favourite. Of course I agree, the cost is too much on the higher side, but the job it does is amazing! You just need a pea-size quantity of this balm – tub the same in between fingers and apply it on your face – or areas of makeup like lips or eyes. It melts any and every stubborn makeup in no time giving you a deep cleansed effect post the wash off with a cleanser.
What I Like and Dislike about it:
Likes:
- Breaks down makeup in no-time
- Doesn’t sting your eyes
- Doesn’t have any odd fragrance like many other cleansing balms
- Required in pea-size quantity – hence goes a long way
- Widely available
Dislikes:
- Very costly
