Hello Reader!

Today I was going through the reviews of my CDP (Child and Development) book on Amazon. It is so satisfying that students are reading your book and talking positive things about it. I am in my 30’s and sometime I feel that I haven’t achieved much in my life. Ah! Mood swings are real 😉 I was a studious student but was never ambitious in terms of career. I was a topper and a shy child who used to love reading books. There was an uncle with a small book store who use to give me books at 50% discount. I still wonder he used to save anything or not. Immediately after my post graduation I got married. After marriage we shifted to Gurgaon and after that I never saw that uncle. I wish one day we will meet, बस ऐसे ही !

People around expected me to have a nice government job but I never appeared for the same. I was never interested in a fixed job however I did few before realizing my passion for writing. Now I realize why I never wanted to do a 9-5 job. My first job was a French teacher and I was loving it but then came that day when I realized my passion for writing. I was not happy with the books which were included in the curriculum of that school and I complained about this to the principal. To which she replied “इतनी ही होशियार हो खुद क्यों नहीं लिख लेती ?”. Believe me that day I felt humiliated and sad but now I thank her. अगर वह ego hurt ना करती तो मैं कभी अपना passion समझ ना पाती. This is how I wrote my first book which later turned into 11 books at the age of 26 Years 🙂 Yes! I am talking about “Le Grand Ocean”.

I. Le Grand Ocean

About the books: This series is a set of 11 books written in a structured manner to facilitate the learner’s interest in French. It focuses on all the four skills of learning, i.e., Reading, Writing, Listening and the Speaking. These books are complemented with adequate illustrations. The vocabulary aims to hone the communication skills of the learner. There is gradual progression followed by ample exercises.

When I was writing these books, I never imagined that they will turned out to be so beautiful. I have tried to keep the language easy so that kids can easy learn this foreign language. Here I would like to thanks everyone who helped (Saraswati Publication House- Team Members, reviewers, my husband etc.) in creating such beautiful books.

After these books Aarav (my son) came into my life and I was more busy with me. But I kept my passion for writing alive through my blog Zig Zac Mania along with other websites, magazine etc. Time was passing by and one day idea of writing CDP book clicked in my mind. फिर क्या था लिख डाली 😉

II. CTET Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP) Book – Paper I and II

About the book: This book is tailored for both Paper I and Paper II of the CTET exam, which ensures that it covers the syllabus comprehensively.
