Few weeks back I have received a hamper of baby products from brand Mother Sparsh. Mother Sparsh After Bite Turmeric Balm is also one of them. To be honest I wasn’t able to use it (I am really happy for this). As he didn’t face any insect bite from last 2 years. Yes! When he was around 9 or 10 months old, he got really bad insect bite. That time I used cow’s ghee & it did wonder. Mommies a small suggestion always check your baby’s clothing properly before dressing up.
Four days back my husband got a really bad insect bite around his eyes. His both eyes swelled my like hell, will share his pics in the post. We used it and believe me this product is amazing. It worked for my husband that too for this horrible insect bite so will definitely work for your munchkin too. In this post I am sharing my review about the same.
About the product: Turmeric Balm which provides relief from insect bite, rashes and minor skin irritation. Its natural extracts like turmeric, sarso, jaitoon and pudina make it reliable to use.

Direction of use: Apply liberally 3-4 times daily to affected area as needed. If irritation occurs discontinue its use.
Packaging: This balm comes in a white colored plastic jar. It has a screw cap which closes tightly. It is a balm so there is negligible chance for spillage or leakage. A cardboard box is also there which contains all the required details about the product. The packaging is pretty simple & serves the purpose.
My opinion about the product: This balm is yellowish in color representing Turmeric as a main ingredient. The consistency is similar to the lip balm and it provides relief from insect bite, rashes and minor skin irritation. The mother sparsh after bite turmeric balm is full of natural extracts like turmeric, sarso, jaitoon and pudina. Its anti- bacterial, anti-septic and anti-inflammatory and is therefore helpful for the conditions of eczema, itching skin eruptions, acne and rashes. The fragrance is similar to Eucalyptus oil which is mild in nature & doesn’t bother your nose.
My husband faced a bad insect bite so he applied it in the night before going to the bed. Do make sure to wash or clean affected area with water or water-based wipes. The result was visible in the morning, only one application made us believe on the effectiveness of this product. He is using it from 4 days & swelling is gone completely now (he has stopped using it). So I am pretty happy with the product.
There are bugs, mosquitoes and ants everywhere. My friend’s daughter is prone to attracts ants so much. Every day they (parents) see a bite or two and the mark it leaves after itching is terrible it used to become red and then allergy like something. She is also using it for her girl. On application it tends to sooth the skin also itches less. If you are pissed off that mosquito or ant bites on your babies delicate skin . I will definitely recommend Mother Sparsh turmeric balm. Believe me it is damn effective on adults too. You can spend your money on this without thinking twice. Overall is an amazing product for kids and yes for adults too.
