Hello Everyone!

When I was active on Youtube a common question many women used to post on my comment section was related to  my hair care routine. I am blessed with dark black and straight hair. I am among those lucky people who are blessed with the beautiful hair without following any proper hair care routine. Sunsilk shampoo & mamaearth hair mask were sufficient to keep my hair alive. But from last 2 years my hair is going through a lot due to hard water in my area. So, finally I decided to add a hair oil in my hair care routine and this time I picked mamaearth Rosemary Hair Growth Oil with Rosemary & Methi Dana. Rosemary seeps into the hair follicles and is proven to stimulate hair growth. Whereas Methi Dana is rich in antioxidants, Methi Dana helps in controlling hair fall. I am not a hair oil person but this time I decided to be regular and after using for 1 month, I am sharing my opinion about it 🙂

How to use it:
  • Part your hair in two halves and apply the oil directly to the scalp using the comb applicator.
  • Leave it overnight or for a few hours.

Packaging: This time I am not impressed with the packaging of this hair oil. It comes in a lilac plastic bottle with a white color cap. It comes with the comb applicator which makes hair oiling process fuss free. Cardboard box has similar color combination and all the required details are printed over it. There is no reason of leakage but still I can feel oil on the outer surface of bottle after every usage. I will definitely not carry it while travelling.

My opinion about the product: Like most of the hair oil this too appears to be yellowish in bottle but on my palm transparent in color. The fragrance is mild in nature and doesn’t bother your nose. I rarely use oil, last I used was the coconut oil from brand ‘Patanjali’. This get easily absorbed into the scalp. I gently massage it onto my scalp and leave it for approximately 1 hour, You can also leave it overnight in summers, I am not sure about the winters. It is a very light weight and doesn’t feel heavy on my hair.

Washing it off is not that difficult, generally it takes a lot of efforts to wash of hair oil completely in case of heavy chump-y. I am applying it twice in a weak and have noticed that post wash my hair feel more nourished and soft. It’s like I have applied a hair mask. So if I have applied this hair oil before shampooing my hair then that day I do not go for the hair mask. Still my hair feels like the way it do after applying a hair mask or conditioner 🙂 After 1 month of use I can also see baby hair which is definitely a good sign. My hair definitely stronger & healthier than before . No doubt the price is on a bit higher side but worth buying 🙂
