Glass skin is a term that originated from Korean beauty trends and refers to a skincare goal characterized by exceptionally clear, smooth, and radiant skin. The name “glass skin” is inspired by the idea of having a complexion that resembles the luminous and transparent qualities of glass. It emphasizes a dewy, flawless, and pore less appearance with a healthy glow.

Mamaearth Rice Face Scrub with Rice Water & Niacinamide is a product based on this concept of glass skin. Having a glass skin is a kind of dream for me. So, when I came to know about this product I ordered it instantly from Amazon. It’s been 2 months that I am using this product and finally sharing my review about the same . By the way achieving glass skin is a damn difficult task 🙂

Crafted with the goodness of Rice Water & Niacinamide, the face scrub has a unique gel-like texture that’s cooling on the skin as it gently exfoliates, cleanses & nourishes the skin. Rice Water in the scrub clarifies the skin, controls oil production & also boosts collagen. The gentle Rice Beads get rid of dead skin cells while absorbing excess oil. Niacinamide in the scrub helps minimize open pores and evens the skin texture giving you smoother and radiant glass-like skin!

How to use it:

Step 1 : Wet Your Face & Neck.

Step 2 : Apply the scrub all over and massage it gently in an upward circular motion.

Step 3 : Rinse off with water and pat dry.

Step 4 : Use at least twice a week for best results.

Packaging: The face scrub comes in a white and light brown squeeze tube. This colour combination of the tube represents the rice, the rice is white in colour and it has a brown coloured covering. All the details are printed in English & you will find each & every detail like direction of use, price, quantity, DOM, shelf life etc are mentioned on the label. The cap closes with a click, and you need to squeeze the tube to get the product.

My opinion about the product: I got surprised to see the face scrub. It is white in colour seems like paste of the rice. The fragrance is mild and soothing. It will definitely not bother your sensitive nose. When it comes to skin-care, you cannot determine its quality, just the first time you use it. So, after using it for about few weeks now, I can finally talk about how it worked for me. The texture is the smoothest, so it doesn’t irritate my skin. After using it for a week, three times, I could see that my black heads were slowly disappearing. As it is a mild scrub so you may not find it effective against stub born black heads.

A small amount is enough for scrubbing face so this 100 ml tubes lasts really long. It doesn’t make my skin dry or stretchy, post scrubbing which makes it suitable for dry skin types too. Now come to the main point, it claims to give you glass skin. But unfortunately, I can’t see any such effect. The scrubbing effect is good but it won’t add anything towards glass skin. You can definitely buy it if you are looking for scrub for regular use but if achieving glass skin is your main objective then do skip this one.
