Post pregnancy my skin has became dull and pigmented. I don’t believe in product which claims fairer skin but definitely need a product to make my skin even tone. Shop keeper told me about Himalaya Clear Complexion Brightening Day Cream. According to brand this cream is packed with natural ingredients, this cream claims to reduce dark spots, blemishes, and pigmentation while providing essential hydration and sun protection. No doubt only skincare can’t give you desired result, you need to change your whole lifestyle (diet, exercise, sleep etc) for it. But skincare product can definitely add on in the desired result 🙂 In this post I will be reviewing this Day cream from the brand Himalaya.

How to use it: Cleanse your face and hands. Dot face and neck with Himalaya Clear Complexion Brightening Day Cream. Massage using a circular motion.
Packaging: This cream comes in a glass jar of 50 mL jar that’s enclosed in a box. The jar is transparent making actual product visible from outside. All the details are printed on the cardboard box. As for the ingredients, here you go. This cream has methylparaben in it. I’m not upset in any way because creams are the beauty products that our fingers touch and inadvertently pass on germs to. It’s different when you squeeze out products on your fingers from a tube versus dipping your fingers into a tub of cream or product. This is why I’d rather that it have parabens in a product rather than get sick with some unknown bacterial infection because of exposing it.
My opinion about the product: The cream texture is rich and creamy, but it has a non-greasy feeling after application. A small amount is enough for the entire face and neck. I personally feel that it leaves a smooth and light-weight feeling after application. The face cream leaves no residue on the face, and it hydrates the skin very well.
The cream has a smooth and lightweight texture that effortlessly glides onto the skin. It gets absorbed quickly, leaving no greasy or sticky residue behind. This is particularly beneficial for those with oily or combination skin types who often struggle with heavy creams. The formula feels refreshing and non-comedogenic, making it suitable for sensitive skin as well. The cream contains licorice, white dammer, and Indian madder, which are known for their skin-brightening properties. These ingredients work together to lighten dark spots and pigmentation gradually. However, it is important to note that results may vary depending on individual skin types and the severity of the pigmentation.
After usage for about a week, my skin tone started to brighten up. I really love the radiant glow that it gave to my complexion! I love everything about this cream as it provides excellent moisture effects to my skin! It also evened out my skin tones by reducing dark spots and pigmentation. In terms of hydration, the cream performs well. It provides adequate moisture throughout the day, keeping the skin nourished and supple. The addition of SPF 20 ensures a certain level of sun protection, which is essential to prevent further darkening of existing spots and to shield the skin from harmful UV rays.
With regular use, theHimalayaClear Complexion Whitening Day Cream shows promising results. It gradually minimizes the appearance of dark spots and blemishes, resulting in a more even skin tone. However, it is important to have realistic expectations as the lightening process may take time and consistent use.
The only downside is the packaging as it comes in a heavy glass jar/tub, which I find it pretty unhygienic, as I have to dip my fingers in deeply to scoop out the cream.
