Few days back I reviewed Rose Gold (Click Here to read) shade of L’Oreal Paris Gold Obsession Lipsticks range. Last year (2017) L’Oreal launched #BoldInGold Collection which has 7 lipsticks from the Star Collection Color Riche range, one eye-shadow palette and two vibrant nail paint colors. These L’Oreal Paris Gold Obsession Lipsticks come in 7 different shades – Rouge Gold, Scarlet Gold, Plum Gold, Mocha Gold, Coral Gold, Rose Gold and Le Gold. From this range I have 2 shades in my vanity i.e Rose Gold & Coral Gold, in this post I will be reviewing Coral Gold.

Packaging: This lipstick comes in a Gold and Black Ombre packaging with a shade indicator in the front with the name of the L’Oréal brand ambassadors for individual lip color. There is a color-coded sticker at the base of the tube, which bears the shade name and number. The cap has the click lock system and the twist up functionality. The lipstick bullet has a beautiful shape, which facilitates easy and smooth application. Overall I am pretty much happy & satisfied with the packaging 
My opinion about the product: It is a pretty muted orange shade. It is not that bright neon orange which makes it suitable even for duskier skin tones. It will be a perfect shade for the summers. It has fine golden shimmer in it but you won’t be able to see if do not pay attention. However when lipstick fades away then these shimmer particles are very much visible. The texture of this lipstick is creamy, soft and smooth. It effortlessly glides on the lips like butter & doesn’t dry out my lips. The finish is well balanced between creamy and glossy and gives a beautiful plump lip look to the lips. The lipstick is enriched with jojoba oil, which makes it a great choice for dry lips or winters.
If we talk about the pigmentation then I will say it has medium pigmentation & require a couple of swipes to cover up pigmented lips. It has a glossy so I was thinking that it gonna bleed but to my surprise it doesn’t bleed or feather at all. Major problem which you will face after applying this lipstick is that it transfers crazily. If you will have tea or water it will surely transfer to the cup or glass. It also has a tendency to stain your lips with those golden shimmer The staying power of this lipstick is decent & stays on my lips for 4-5 hours. It is pretty easy to take it off on washing face but leaves behind minute particles of golden shimmer. For removing this shimmer you need to put some extra effort. I have two shades i.e Rose Gold & Coral Gold out of which I like Rose Gold more.
What I like about this product….
- Gorgeous gold-black ombre packaging.
- Nice Summery Color.
- The texture is creamy smooth and glides like a dream.
- Enriched with Jojoba Oil.
- No bleeding or feathering.
- Non drying formula.
What I do not like about this product….
- A bit expensive.
- Transfer a lot.
- Not able to survive meal.
- Require a couple of swipes to cover up pigmented lips.
