I do apply lip balms in summers but it’s usage increases a lot in winters. As my lips become dry quickly in winters. So this time I bought Lakme Lip Love Lip Care Lip Balm. This balm is available in 4 variants, Vanilla, Peach, Strawberry and Cherry. Out of these, I chose cherry one, so here is my complete review about it.
Product claims:
§ Luxurious creamy core that moisturizes your lips
§ Swirl of color for a hint of tint
§ SPF 15 that protects from sun damage
Ingredients: Nothing mentioned on the packaging (Strange!)
Price: 200 Rs
Wt: 3.8 gm

Shades available: It comes in four shades Vanilla, Peach, Strawberry and Cherry.
Packaging: Lakme Lip Love Lip Care look completely similar to Elle 18 lipsticks. The twist up packing is the same size as Elle 18. The outer packaging is color coded as per the shade with a clear cap and the packaging is very travel friendly. The only problem with the packaging is absence of ingredient list.
My opinion about this product: This product’s packaging is quite girlish which instantly draws your attention (especially if you are pink maniac like me). The lip balm is reddish pink in color and has a mild smell of cherries. The tip of the stick is slanted for ease of application. It slides very smoothly on lips and very light weight in nature. It does not feel or wax like on lips.
If you don’t have pigmented lips then single swipe of the lip balm will make you feel that there is some substantial amount of work is being done by the balm. But in case of pigmented lip 3-4 swipes required to achieve desired shade.
If we talk about moisturizing property of this lip balm. Then I must say it is very impressive. You need to apply it after 2-3 hours (without meal). I am very much satisfied with this balm. It is going to be part of my vanity or bag throughout this winters.
What I like about this product….
1. Very soft and smooth texture.
2. Unique dual core lip balm.
3. Gives a nice flash of tint to the lips.
4. Glides smoothly.
5. Keeps lips hydrated.
6. Travel-friendly packaging.
7. Easily available on online as well as local market.
What I do not like about this product….
2. Ingredients list is not mentioned anywhere.
