I am among those who loves dewy look. I know many prefer matte look but I am a dewy person (LOL). In this post I will be sharing my review about Innisfree Dewy Glow Jelly Cream. I ordered this from Nykaa & the price of this 50 ml beauty is bomb.
About the product: A bouncy jelly cream that absorbs instantly into skin to hydrate and boost radiance, leaving it soft, visibly glowing.
– Jeju Cherry Blossom helps boost skin radiance.
– Infused with Betaine, a moisturizing ingredient derived from sugar beets that creates a protective layer to prevent hydration loss.
– Jelly texture absorbs instantly into skin without any sticky residue
Price: 1,700 Rs
Qt: 50 gm
How to use it: Apply onto face and neck AM and PM after eye care, then gently pat onto skin for better absorption.
Packaging: This gel comes in a Pink color plastic jar with a white color screw cap. The packaging is chic! In love with it 🙂 Few of you may find this jar packaging a bit unhygienic but spatula can be used to maintain hygiene.
My opinion about the product: It is a light weight and non-sticky cream. It’s a transparent cream that just feels like soft butter on skin. It more toward a watered based cream which has an amazing texture 🙂 So I was super excited to try this out. My skin often feels fatigued and overwhelmed, especially coming home from a long work day, so I was applying it (from last 15 days) right after cleansing. Sad but I did not noticed any benefit(s) from this product. It does not add that extra glow or dewy look. It fails in fulfilling my skin’s hydration demand. Which forces me to apply more layers of this gel. Now this is frustrating. In India it is tagged at the price of Rs. 1,700 so comes as a disappointment.
This gel also claims to protect skin and improve skin pigmentation. Again I haven’t noticed any visible effect of the same. You can not use it as a base or primer under your makeup so I am very disappointed with the gel. There is no reason to buy or recommend this. No doubt we all have different skin and may be this will work for you. Here I am sharing my experience 🙂
