You guessed it right, I’ve become one of that nagging linguistics, who keep blabbering in a different language, the moment they start learning it. In case you’re wonder, the jibber jabber above means “Hello, how are you?” in Korean. Okay so get this straight, the moment I start with “안녕하세요”, it means that I’ll be reviewing a Korean branded product, because, trust me, I’m using a lot of them.

So, the product I’ll be talking about today is the Faceshop Damyang Bamboo Gel.

Ingredients:

Price: INR 450

Quantity: 300 ml

Direction of use: apply evenly all over face after toning as a moisturizer.

Packaging: The Faceshop Damyang Bamboo Gel, comes in an enormous tub packaging. The print on the surface of the tub is of a fresh green bamboo, which actually makes it look like the product comes in an actual bamboo chunk. The packaging has all the relevant details printed on it, like the price, ingredients, shelf life, quantity, etc. The cap is sturdy and closes with a screw.

My opinions on the product: my skin is the most sensitive during summers. So I always need a good moisturizer which is non comedogenic and doesn’t clog my pores. Basically I can’t use any creams on my face. I was on the hunt for good aloevera gels, because lets accept it, the Patanjali aloe gel doesn’t do anything, at least for my skin, it doesn’t. So the hunt went on for quite a while, until I stumbled upon this particular bamboo gel. No harm in trying, is there?

The product’s real MVP is that it has no added colors to it. All of the products are made from natural Damyang Bamboo. Hence, the less ingredients in your product, the better. Firstly the quantity that you get for the price is amazing. And the best thing about it is that it practically cools down your face. For super oily and sensitive skin like mine, this is perfect, as it really calms down my eyes and really helps me sleep. The gel is completely fragrance free, which is a plus. When you use it, it gives a really beautiful glow from within look which really makes my Korean glass skin dream seem closer.
