This is my first post on this blog and I would like to thank my friend Anjali Sengar for this opportunity 🙂 I decided to review Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Cream. The price of this product is on higher side but fortunately I got opportunity to try sample size of this cream i.e 5 ml. It will cost you around ₹ 1,200. I researched and found that you can easily find them on websites like Nykaa, Netmeds, Clinique etc. I am in my late 30’s and fine lines are becoming predominant so I was looking for something which can work on my wrinkles and fine lines.
About the product: Moisturizer for wrinkles helps strengthen and nourish for smoother, younger-looking skin. Use twice a day, morning and at night. 85% say lines + wrinkles looked reduced.* Also available in Rich formula for dryer skin types.
Packaging: This cream strikes the perfect balance between elegance and functionality. The outer packaging features a sturdy, rectangular box made of high-quality cardboard. The box is adorned with a minimalist aesthetic, combining a soothing color scheme and a subtle metallic logo. The understated design aligns with Clinique’s clean and sophisticated brand image while ensuring that the focus remains on the product itself.
Upon opening the box, one discovers the cream nestled inside a purple colored flat bottom jar. The jar is made of opaque, frosted glass, which not only protects the product from light exposure but also gives it a luxurious appearance. The opaque design prevents degradation of the active ingredients caused by direct sunlight, ensuring the cream’s efficacy over time. The glass material also provides a premium feel and is recyclable, highlighting Clinique’s commitment to sustainability.
My opinion about the product: The cream is white in color and has a very smooth texture. Fragrance is good and not at all overpowering. It easily gets absorbed into the skin and nourishes well. One can say it is an amazing moisturizer 🙂
I’ve been using it for about a month, and although I can’t say that it’s made much of a difference on my most aggressive lines – I’m looking at you, forehead wrinkle – my overall skin tone is much improved. It is smoother, more even and less red. The moisturizer is fragrance-free and has a lightweight, non-greasy texture that is surprisingly hydrating.
It may not be the holy grail in fighting wrinkles, but it’s a great moisturizer overall. I’d recommend for those who are just beginning their anti-aging journey, and to anyone who is looking for a dependable everyday moisturizer that won’t irritate sensitive skin. If you are looking for something which can work strongly on your wrinkles then better to skip this one, as the price is on higher side as well as it is not effective on wrinkles and fine lines 🙂
