Hello Cuties!
Applying lipstick is not a rocket science but still you will notice that some women wear it like a pro & some not able to do it. I have noticed that major mistake is done at the corner of lips. Lip liner helps in defining lips so it is very important to apply it before applying lipstick. In this post, I will be sharing that how to apply a lip liner as a pro 🙂Â
Process:
Step 1: Prep your lips
The very first step is to prepare your lips before applying a lip liner. If you have dry & chapped lips then make sure to exfoliate your lips followed by a lip balm. Always use a mild lip scrub if your lips are severally chapped. Do read our post on How To Exfoliate Lips Properly.
Step 2: Choose the shade
The shade of your lip liner depends on the lipstick shade you will be wearing. You can pick similar shade for lip liner (like lipstick) or can go for a bit darker shade to create ombre look.
Step 3: Line up your lips
This is very important step for great finishing. Start lining your lips from your cupid’s bow working your way all around your pout, following the natural line of your lips.Â
Step 4: Filling up
Now you have to fill up you lips with crayon, liquid lipstick, gloss or simply with the lip liner itself. Make sure that your lip liner is blended well so there is no hard lines when you apply your lipstick or lip crayon. You will notice that lip stick looks more beautiful with lip liner on.
Step 5: Finishing touch
If you feel that you look is perfect than you can skip this step. But if not grab then take a small concealer brush so you can clean up any small imperfections. Fill your lips in with lip liner first, it’ll act as a primer for your liquid lipstick since it will have something to adhere to. So you will notice that longevity has improved as well as will look more pigmented.
