WOW Skin Science Vitamin C Serum| Review

April 23, 2021 by anjali Leave a Comment

Hi Readers!

In this post, I will be talking about WOW Skin Science Vitamin C Serum. This serum contains hyaluronic acid which is a humectant that hydrates and plump skin. I have received this as a PR sample with few other products of their Vitamin C range. I have already reviewed Face wash of vitamin C range, Click Here to read the complete review. I started using cream, face wash, toner & serum of this range together in order to get the visible results. This serum comes in a bottle of 30 ml & priced at 599 Rs, few of you may find it a bit difficult. But the fact is that serums are generally tagged at a bit higher price.

WOW Serum

About the product: Get luminous, youthful skin with WOW Skin Science Vitamin C Face Serum. It delivers the benefits of pure vitamin C, witch hazel and hyaluronic acid. The serum helps to hydrate and repair skin; boost collagen and elastin; smooth out fine lines; even out complexion and improve skin luminosity.

WOW Serum

  • Hydrate and repair skin
  • Boost collagen and elastin
  • Smooth out fine lines
  • Even out complexion
  • Improve skin luminosity

Price: 599 Rs.

Quantity: 30 ml

Shelf life: 24 months

Direction of use: Dispense a pea-sized amount of the serum onto your palm. Dot the serum all over your cleansed face and neck. Smooth it on your skin with fingers. Dab and press it into your skin. Go from inside of your face towards the hairline and from neck to jaw and upwards. Do this for a minute to allow the serum to get soaked into the skin. Use this twice daily.

WOW Serum

Packaging: No doubt, each and every product of WOW brand has a very classy packaging. This serum comes in a dark brown glass bottle with a pump attach on top. The pump is secured with a cap which does not cover the nozzle it has. The pump dispenses out controlled amount of the product. The bottle as well as cardboard box contains all the information related to the product. Really impressed with the packaging of the serum.

My opinion about the product: The serum has a thicker consistency unlike oil based serums. It glides quite easily over the skin with a citrusy fragrance which is very refreshing. Initially I was a bit skeptical using it considering such a high concentration of vitamin c in it. But all my assumptions regarding this serum changed within 1 week itself. However now its more the 4 weeks that I am using it. I am using it in night before going bed. I apply this serum after cleansing and toning my face and neck. I would recommend you to apply your skincare products on your neck too which is oftentimes neglected.

WOW Serum

You will need maximum 2 or 3 (if you have a big face like me he he) pumps of this serum to cover your entire face and neck. This serum did not cause any purging. The formulation is completely oil-free, non sticky and non greasy. A lot people gets sacred when it comes about using serum on face (oil faced) so this serum will solve your problem. It is extremely lightweight like you’re slathering a layer of water on your face. This vitamin c serum gets absorbed into the skin within a few seconds. It does not leave behind any greasy or sticky feeling which is सुपर से भी ऊपर . Lol

Now let’s comment on the main thing, the effectiveness of the product. The hydration is super awesome and hydrates well. The presence of hyaluronic acid in it makes it hydrating. Whereas ferulic acid and vitamin E increases the efficacy of the complete formulation in terms of antioxidant benefits. I have notice a little visible effects even after a month. If you have dry skin then it will solve your problem but if you have a pigmented skin or blemishes or acne spots then I will say it won’t help much. At least in my case I can’t claim it to be effective on the spots or acne marks.

WOW Serum

The point it I won’t invest 599 Rs. on this product if prime objective is to see results or effectiveness on pigmentation, spots or acne spots. Else it is a great option, if you looking for something super hydrating for your skin.

What I liked about the product:

  • An antioxidant-packed formulation.
  • Suitable for beginners and sensitive skin.
  • Highly stable formula.
  • Improves skin texture.
  • Keeps skin hydrated & nourished.

What I don’t like about the product:

  • No visible effect on blemishes, pigmentation or acne spots.
  • Not available in the local market.

ZZM Rating: 3/5
