VLCC Ayurveda Haldi & Chandan Face Wash| Review

Hi Ladies!!!

I recently picked VLCC Ayurveda Haldi & Chandan Face Wash. On the face wash, it was clearly mentioned that it is not for individual sale still, a whole lot of this face wash was available for sale. What made me more upset that this guy was selling it for 55 Rs only (Actual price of the face wash). I asked him but he did not gave me any satisfactory reply. I know he must be pissed off with me but puchna hamara hakk banta hai 😉

Ingredients:

Qt: 50 ml

Shelf life: 36 months from the date of manufacturing

How to use:

Apply on wet face & neck.
Massage gently in circular motion to work up a lather, avoiding eye area.
Rinse off thoroughly with water & pat dry.
Use twice a day for best results.

Packaging: This face wash comes in a see-through plastic squeeze tube with a flip top cap. All of the product details like ingredients, directions, expiry, price etc. are mentioned on the tube itself. The packaging is simple & sturdy, you can carry it in your bag without worrying about leakage or spillage 🙂

My opinion about the product: As it is a gel-based product so it has a gel-like consistency. The face wash is yellow in color and has a strong “Sandalwood” (chandan) fragrance. I found it a bit irritating that too when I don’t have that sensitive nose. So watch out if you have a sensitive nose. This face wash does not have any artificial fragrance neither colorants in it. Best thing is that the preservatives used in this face wash are also organic in nature.

This face wash lathers well & cleanses of my skin well. But it is not that clarifying face cleanser, it is not made to make your face free from oil. Being blessed with oily skin you definitely need a face wash which controls oil on the face. This face also dries out my nose skin and skin around my face. I think it is not going to suit people with dry skin. It is not going to give any dramatic results.

So you can call it is an average face wash which doesn’t target anything. It is not at all effective in controlling oil, pimples etc. The only good part is its affordable price 🙂
