The moment I saw VICCO Turmeric Skin Cream in Oil Base, I got stuck in my childhood memories. I was struggling through bad pimples phase & used to apply Vicco Turmeric cream (that regular tube one) in night. That cream was helpful up to certain extent. Time passed by & that cream lost space from my vanity 🙁 So when I saw this oil based cream I instantly grabbed it. Let’s see this product is a hit or miss as per my experience.

Direction of use: Apply the cream after washing your face. Massage it deeply into the skin.
Packaging: This cream comes is a plastic bottle with a light brown colored flip top cap. The cap shuts tightly & prevents the spillage of the product. Product’s related details are given on the bottle. Packaging is simple and there is nothing to rave about it.
My opinion about the product: The cream is yellowish in color and has a lotion like consistency. It is enriched with the goodness of turmeric which is known for its healing properties that helps in protecting the skin from infections, healing burns, curing wounds and calming down skin irritation. As per brand this cream prevents your skin from drying and other infections. It also helps cure wounds and burns. Your skin feels nourished and the tonal value is improved making your skin beautiful.
So basically it is a multipurpose cream but as a moisturizer I found it a completely failed product. Because it doesn’t not provide desired amount of moisture to my skin. It easily gets absorbed into skin but leaves behind stickiness which is really irritating. I used it few times and my skin was not comfortable with it. So I have stopped using it. It may be used for healing burns, curing wounds but using is for daily purpose is not a good idea.
As a moisturizer I am very much disappointed with this cream but will be using it for other purpose.
What I like about this product….
- Has multi purpose uses.
- Economical.
- Travel friendly packaging.
What I don’t like about this product….
- Not effective for dry skin.
- Leaves sticky feeling on skin.
- Has weird fragrance.
- Difficult to find in local store.
