For me, shower gels also provide a relaxing and soothing experience, so I always make it a point to use them on days when I want to pamper myself. Direction of use: To use the shower gel, pour some of the liquid on a loofah and scrub it on your body to form lather and enjoy the luxurious and rich lather for as long as you like.
Packaging: The Body Shop Olive shower gel comes packed in a plastic bottle which is really sturdy. On top is a flip cap, which can be used to extract the product in the desired quantity. A label around the bottle gives you complete information about the product.
My opinion about the product: I simply love the fruity and zesty fragrance of the olive shower gel. It has a unique tangy fragrance, which will rejuvenate your senses any day. The aroma of the gel is so real that you will feel as though you are right in the middle of all those olives. The texture of the shower gel is neither too thick, nor too thin, which makes it easy to apply on the loofah and scrub for maximum lather. You will be surprised by the amount of lather that it gives your skin. Makes me want to stay in and keep enjoying it.
However, the fragrance of the shower gel does not linger after the bath for a long time, which is okay because that is something you cannot get from any bathing product anyway, except for a lotion. The gel has a mild and gentle action on the skin which is why, it is really easy to wash away, without leaving any trace of the shower gel on the skin.
The best part about this shower gel is that you do not need to follow up with a moisturizer if you don’t want to. It gives enough moisture and nourishment to your skin, to last all day long, without making your skin dry and itchy. There are many other variants in this range but they are not skin type specific. So basically, this one can be used by people of all skin types.
Overall, I will completely recommend this shower gel to anyone who loves playing with fragrances and enjoys a luxurious bathing experience, every once in a while. The price of the product is slightly on the higher side but given the quantity, I feel that this one is a really economic product from Body Shop, given its upscale price range for other products.
