Hi Divas!
In this post I will be reviewing a liquid lipstick from the Balm, in the shade Charming.
About the product: Introducing a truly loyal long-lasting liquid lipstick—Meet Matt(e) Hughes. With twelve dreamy shades to choose from, you can take your pick from this hopelessly devoted collection. This long-wearing formula has a comfortable matte finish with no commitment issues. These matte vanilla mint liquid lipsticks are stuck on you without feeling clingy!
Price: 17 $
Qt: 7.2 gm
How to apply it:
Step 1. Apply liquid lipstick in the center of your upper lip and follow the contours of your mouth.
Step 2. Glide the liquid lipstick across the entire bottom lip.
Packaging: This lipstick comes in a transparent tube so you get to see the actual product. The cap is a matte silver with a screw-on mechanism. This tube comes in a cardboard packaging on which all the required information is mentioned 🙂 It has a sponge-tip applicator, with is doe-foot shaped. It actually appears to pick up very little product but little is that all you need!
My opinion about the product: This range in also available in the mini liquid lipstick kit which contains in 6 shades- Charming, Sincere, Committed, Doting, Dedicated and Loyal. Out of these 6 shades; Sincere, Doting and Dedicated are the newest additions to the Meet Matt(e) Hughes collection. You can also buy full size version individually. The shade I have is charming. Charming is a beautiful brown-peach shade that will suit all skin tones. It is highly pigmented and just one swipe is required for that amazing opaque and pigmented layer on your lips.
It applies smoothly and initially goes on a little wet but dries down very quickly in about 15-20 seconds. For a smooth and flawless look, make sure you have well exfoliated lips. Then only your lips will look good 😉 It is transfer proof & smudge proof, stays at place even after heavy meal. The color pay off is really good on lips, one thin layer is enough to conceal pigmented lips. The finish of this lipstick is a true matte. There would not be a hint of shine at all. It is a matte lipstick in real sense. To be honest it is the most long lasting product I have used till date.
ZZM Rating: 4.5/6
I would highly recommend this lipstick if you are fond of long lasting lip products and true matte lips. The only drawback about the product is, it is very difficult to buy it in India.
