Being an Indian brand I am super proud of that fact and also I guess most of my products are from them which is definitely not a surprise as the brand deserves it. Let’s see if these liquid lipsticks are making their brand proud or not.

Packaging: These Liquid lipsticks comes in their regular SUGAR style carton which has this beauty smiling on the cover and it also has all the vital details printed on it which is quite appreciable. It is a rectangular transparent tube with attractive black Cap which has its logo embossed on it. You get to see the shade name and number on the bottom of the tube to which I give an extra star. It is absolutely travel-friendly since the product comes in a sturdy packaging.
We have a plain sponge applicator for this one and it does a fair job because of the length of the applicator. I was bit skeptical about its wand size as I felt it was small but it did work well covering the corners of the lips especially. Since the shade “Suave Mauve” was from their initial launch and “Rose Repose “was from their second revision of the range I slightly feel the difference both in packaging and formula which is not a big deal though.
Formula: These liquid lipsticks have a very comfortable formula which does not make you feel uneasy or create any problem while applying the product. But of course being a matte finish product it definitely has the quality of drying out your lips after sometime and as everyone says “Girls just exfoliate and apply lip balm before applying the product”. I think this has to be the mandatory slogan for every liquid lipstick review ( 😉 ). Suave mauve from the first batch was a bit thick and creamy whereas “Rose Repose“ from the second revision of the range was a bit runny and more comfortable on the lips. Once it is dried out it is completely transfer proof. But Ladies you got to do a tough task while removing the lipsticks since it requires an oil based cleanser for sure.
Shade Range: Suave mauve is a dusty pink gorgeous mauve shade which is mostly like a MLBB everyday wear and got a slight hint of Purple undertones. And Rose Repose as the name says is a beautiful mix of peach and pink shades and also a good one for both day and night. I think again the shade varies based on our skin tones too since I found the second shade to be on a brighter note on my very pretty looking dusky skin friend of mine whereas Suave mauve might not suit most of the deeper skin tones. And it lasts for good 5 to 6 hours with normal consumption of food and starts to fade from the center of lips after some time.
