Parenting has always been a challenge for all parents irrespective of the age and experience of both the parents. One thing which troubled me most was accompanying my baby for Long distance journeys (as we travel a lot) and on top of that, I knew very less about baby wearing. Once I got to know about Baby Wearing, I felt it was made for me and our life (as for both Parents) became very easy for us.
I feel that baby wearing is a new parenting trend nowadays and I would appreciate the same as it becomes very difficult to carry your baby in your hands for long walks or travels. Baby wearing is the art of carrying a baby in a carrier. Though it may sound a new fancy concept but this has been followed by moms since ages by just using a soft piece of cloth to tie their babies around them. Baby wearing had a major benefit like the convenience or support but also other benefits like helping in breastfeeding and as babies are held near they also cry less.
When our son (Aarav) was born, we did not use any sling but used more of a conventional carrier like a stroller. But that decreased at an early age of 11 months when Aarav started to walk on his own and wanted independence. Later he just refused to sit on stroller creating a lot of hard work for us as he wanted to explore the world on feet but in turn, moving our Blood pressure up as we were afraid of the incoming traffic or vehicles. We were coping with our problem slowly but our habit of traveling was also on the all-time low. It was very difficult to carry him in our arms for long distances. My opinion about this product: The product is an angel for me and parents like me. The best part of the Soul slings Carrier is that Aarav is very happy in it, two reasons for it could be Comfort and his nearness to me. I can travel now long distances on foot and even alone at times, whether it is shopping or sightseeing. I love the “we” time, we have together ( I mean me and Aarav).
