If you are reading my blog posts regularly then you will surely know about my love for sample size products. They are the best way to try out products before buying or investing your money in full size products. Recently I have ordered around 20 products (mostly are minis and few are full size too) from Smytten App. So, in this post I will be talking about Smytten App. I know a lot of you must be well aware about this app. After reading this review do read my review about TryKiya website too, it also provides you an opportunity to try minis 🙂 This is not at all a sponsored post and I have invested around ₹500 for these 18-20 products.
Key features and aspects of the Smytten app include:
1. Curated Selection: Smytten prides itself on its careful curation process, which ensures that users are exposed to products and services of the highest quality. This process saves users from sifting through numerous options, allowing them to explore a curated range of offerings that are likely to meet their standards and preferences.
2. Convenience: The app’s user-friendly interface makes it effortless for users to explore a diverse range of luxury products without leaving their homes. This convenience is especially valuable in today’s fast-paced world, where time is a precious commodity.
3. Verified Original Products: One of Smytten’s standout features is its commitment to offering only 100% verified original products. This authenticity is vital, particularly in the world of luxury goods, where counterfeits can be a concern.
4. Direct Sourcing from Brands: Smytten’s direct sourcing from brands ensures that customers have access to genuine products that come directly from the manufacturers. This direct relationship between the platform and brands enhances trust and authenticity.
5. Exclusive Offers: The app provides users with exclusive offers that might not be readily available through other channels. This adds value to the user experience and can lead to significant savings on premium products.
6. Product Trials: Smytten offers the unique advantage of product trials. Users have the opportunity to try out products before making a purchase decision. This “try before you buy” approach can help users make informed choices based on their experience.
7. Service Fee and Cashback: While users pay a service fee for the trials, this fee can often be received back as a 100% cashback, making the trial essentially free. This business model aligns with the concept of risk-free sampling.
8. Personalization: Through its data-driven approach, Smytten strives to personalize the user experience. The platform takes user preferences into account to recommend products that are more likely to match their tastes.
My experience & review about the website: This isn’t my first experience of ordering from this website. I’ve been an avid user of the app since its inception, although I recently pressed the pause button. After a substantial interval, I find myself placing an order through the website once more. The passage of time has ushered in significant alterations to the terms. In its nascent phase, Smytten functioned as an exclusive invite-only app, where accessing trials necessitated a purchase. Shipping fees commenced at a mere ₹69, granting access to a trifecta of trials. However, the spectrum of available brands remained rather limited in those days.
Now they provide you 6 trial points in which you have an option of exploring around 1400 products of well known brands. Initially I add 6 products of 1 trail point each in which Vaseline Lotion was full size and rest were minis. On adding these 6 products, I also got Just Herbs Mini lipsticks set for free. Yay! For this I paid total ₹213 (₹209 for products+ ₹4 for convenience fees). In free gift too you have few options. They have various payment options including Net Banking, Wallets, UPI, Debit/Credit Cards. You can also opt for Cash On Delivery Option but then you have to pay extra ₹ 50. The delivery too is very fast, I received parcel in just 2-3 days after placing order.
I was so happy with the experience that I again used my 6 trial points but this time I also unlocked extra 6 trial points by paying extra ₹79. This was an amazing deal guys now I got 12 points just by paying ₹ 288 (₹209+₹79) and convivence charges of ₹6 too. Each and every product reached me safely and I am very satisfied with the whole experience. This platform provide you an opportunity of buying products of amazing brands like Sugar Cosmetics, VLCC, PLUM, Just Herbs, Mamaearth, Bioderma etc. Apart from these trial products you can also buy full size products too in great deal so do check out this app guys 🙂 100% it is a genuine app.

I am deducting point for the confusion to use cashback received 🙁 In a parenting community of Facebook a lot women had this same query. We getting cash back but on placing next order we have to pay again.

The products offered are old and sometimes even expired. And even overpricedThey will not send the promotional products are they say till it lasts. Also even if you write to them they will adamantly refuse to acknowledge your concern. This has been my experience repeatedly. So I stopped using this app. Be aware and wise. Do not use this app. Mistakes may happen but when they are unapologetic and take customers fir granted you should not support such unfair companies

Its really sad. They should definitely hear their customers.
