I received Simple Micellar Cleansing water from brand for PR purpose. However received it a few months back but as I was missing from blogging world (for appx. 8 months) so didn’t got time to share my review about this product. I wear basic makeup in day today life so a basic micellar water is more than enough for me. So let’s see it did justice to my basic requirement or not.
Price: 337 Rs
Qt: 200 ml
Packaging: It was a big disappointment for me. As I received this plastic bottle with complete broken cap. The green color flip top cap is flimsy & will come out in few open shut journey. So better not to carry it in your bag.The cap of bottle was already broken & a plastic piece my inserted in the hole to avoid the spillage (don’t no who did said but it is pathetic). One more thing which I didn’t liked that there are two labels at the back of the bottle (one stick over another). Approximately same thing is printed on both labels so I can’t say with surety why they have done this. On the upper one price is given but not on the lower one. These are the few things which were diverting me from using this micellar water. But when you accept any product you have to go for it 🙁
My opinion about the product: According to brand this micellar water is suitable for all kind of skin types even sensitive skin. I do agree with this as my skin is super sensitive & it does not irritate my skin. When it comes about its ability to remove makeup then again it disappoints. Let me tell you that I generally apply lipstick & eyeliner (I even don’t apply cream on regular basis). It easily takes out lipstick but need extra efforts to remove eyeliner (even if it is not water proof or smudge proof). So you have to literally rub cotton with micellar water on your skin to remove your heavy makeup which can be really irritating (I hate rubbing on my eyes). It didn’t gave me any breakouts but there are few reasons which are stopping me to recommend you this micellar water. Rather than this you can go for Garnier micellar water (Read review Here) which is more budget friendly as well as more effective.
