Hello Beauties!
The Revlon Skin Lights Prismatic Highlighter is available in three different shades; Daybreak Glimmer 201, Twighlight Gleam 202 and Gilded Dawn 203. Each shade of the powder highlighter contains 8 grams of product, inside a square plastic compact. In this post I will be reviewing Daybreak Glimmer 🙂
Price: 10 $
Qt: 8 gm
Direction of use: Use a fan brush or a finger to apply product on the high points of the face and body.
Packaging: The lid of the highlighter has a clear lid, with silver chrome detailing around the outside. The pan of the powder has a raised, diamond design.
My opinion about the product: It is a pale champagne shade which looks super gorgeous. It features a silky smooth formula, with the perfect amount of shimmer. But I don’t see them (shimmer) all over my face tho. Coming to the quality of the product, the highlighter works fairly well. However it is a very very minimal highlighter. Its only good for very slight glow from within look.
The quality, however, is very buttery and not chunky at all. Also it blends seamlessly onto the skin. But if you’re someone, who can’t work without a blinding highlight on your face, like me, then you would need to really build up the intensity for a while, and I don’t think that’s worth it for the price you’re paying. Although the staying power of the highlighter is perfect, and hardly needs any touch ups.
What I like about the product:
- Texture.
- Longevity.
- Buildable.
What I don’t like about the product:
- Expensive.
- Availability.
- Very minimal.
- Not worth the price.
