Seems like everyone on ZZM blog reviewing micellar water. Lol! When I asked Anjali to review Pond’s vitamin micellar water. She was like “बस अब और नहीं “. But after half an hour she messaged me ‘Go for it”. She is a very humble blogger & youtuber. Working with her is a real fun. Now let come back to the topic (he he). In this post I will be sharing my review about Pond’s vitamin micellar water. Micellar water is an efficient way of removing makeup even if you are simply wear blush or compact or bb/cc cream.
Price: 125 Rs
Qt: 105 ml
Direction of use: Gently massage to skin with cotton wool while keeping eyes closed. No need to rub or rinse.
Packaging: This Micellar Water comes in color-coded packaging. Light Brightening Rose variant has an appropriate blush pink packaging, which is very girlsih. It has a pink colored cap which shuts lightly & securely. As micellar water is packed in a transparent plastic bottle, so you can see how quantity is left. All the the required information like ingredients, the date of manufacture, price, qt etc. has been mentioned on the bottle itself. Overall the packaging is sturdy & travel friendly.
My opinion about the product: The micellar water formula that looks and feels exactly like water, however is looks pink from outside. I was expecting rose fragrance from the water but unfortunately is has an artificial fragrance. Now this really broke my heart, I mean in a rose based product we expect a fresh fragrance. The nozzle of this product dispenses an adequate amount of product, and all you need to do is tilt the bottle on to your cotton pad. It is perfect for removing light makeup, which means that a little goes a long way with this product.
I love wearing makeup on daily basis like lipstick, kajal, mascara, highlighter etc. For removing heavy makeup it needs efforts, multiple attempts required to take of each & every trace of make. I didn’t notice any brightening effect after using this, but I’m sure you’ll see the results after continuous use. I find it a very gentle and effective micellar water if you wear or minimal makeup but definitely not so satisfying if you love carrying heavy makeup. However it is budget friendly product so you won’t regret much if you find that buying this product was your mistake.
