POND’S Instant Coverage & Glow BB+ Cream (Natural)| Review

9 February 2015, when I wrote my first post on this blog. When I started writing, the aim was to share my review about the products with rest of the world. That time, I never imagined that it is going to be a career in future. I will be known as beauty blogger, will get chance to work with well known brands (Yes! I have worked with almost every brand available in India) and opportunity to interact people through my blog. Blogging also gave me few real good friends like Anamika Debnath, Amreen, Bhawna Shah, Ghazala Naseem and Ragini (list is never ending).

My second post was about Pond’s BB Cream and fortunately brand noticed my work and I got featured on their official Instagram account. That was the my first achievement or you can say motivation to work as a blogger. Here I am still following my passion (Blogs are dying these days,  keep reading guys) and trying to keep my blog alive. In this post, I am again reviewing POND’S Instant Coverage & Glow BB+ Cream (Natural). Yes! I am nostalgic while writing this blog 🙂

About the product: Pond’s BB+ Cream is a 2-in-1 formula, which is a combination of Vitamin cream and lightweight foundation. It helps to give you dual benefits of instant spot coverage and a Light Make-up glow. Now available in two shades. Ivory shade is for light to medium skin tone Natural: For medium to deep medium skin tone. Formulated by the Pond’s Institute, this cream helps cover spots and dark circles to give you an even skin tone with a natural coverage and finish. It hides the blemishes while minimizing the size of pores to give you a smooth look.

Packaging: This BB cream comes in a cute in a white-hot pink squeeze tube, with a silver color screw cap. The product has a tiny nozzle, which helps to control amount of product dispersed. The packaging is hygienic, convenient and travel friendly.

My opinion about the product: It has a good creamy texture to it and has a floral fragrance. It is easy to blend however I don’t apply it directly on my face. I squeeze out small amount of this cream in moisturizer or day cream then mix them well and after that apply it on my face. This solves the problem of dryness which you may face on applying a BB cream 🙂 . A small amount is sufficient to cover the face, and I quickly spread it all over my face with my fingertips. The cream has a non-oily texture that feels light on the skin.

I have wheatish complexion and this natural shade suits me well. This shade will go well for medium to wheatish complexion tones. But if you have deep and dusky skin tone the do avoid both shades as Ivroy shade is suitable for fair to slightly medium skin tones. This BB cream did not oxidize, and it does not transform to a darker shade of one or more. Which is definitely a good thing 🙂

This cream gives me a radiant, near perfect glow for almost 5-6 hours without even setting it with compact. It didn’t break me out either. If you are looking for one cream that acts as tinted moisturizer, foundation and a barely there concealer, this BB cream is right for you. It  provides medium coverage though but won’t able to hide strong dark spots or pigmentation. Blending is however required and recommended. After you blend it properly, result is awesome. It has SPF 30 PA+++ so you need to apply sunscreen separately.

What I liked about the product…

1. Evens out complexion.
2. Non-oily, Non-greasy texture.
3. Tube packaging is hygienic, convenient and travel friendly.
4. Does not leave a white cast.
5. Non-comedogenic.
6. Easy availability.
7. Has an SPF of 30.

What I do not like about the product…

1. Only two shades available.
2. It doesn’t provide heavy coverage.
