I am in my late 20’s, so paying attention on my skin these days. Yes! age effects are noticeable on my skin. Before that I was bit lazy and careless towards my skin. I am adding new products in my skincare routine and Pixi Rose Tonic & Rose Oil Blend are also part of it. In this post I will be talking about both of them. Hope you guys will find this review helpful.
Pixi Rose Tonic: Naturally soothing and rich in nutrients, this tonic helps to tone, balance pH, minimize redness and calm skin. Rehydrates, replenishes and refreshes.
Price: 29 $ for 250 ml
How to use: Use AM & PM after cleansing.
My opinion about the product: This tonic is a rose hydrosol based toner that hydrates the skin, normalises hydration levels and gently removes impurities to leave skin at its best. Like every rose water, it has a watery consistency & rose fragrance. As mentioned I am using it twice in a day (during my morning & evening skin routine). The rose tonic does give my skin refresh feeling and also supply my skin with enough moisturizer to start all my next skincare. Its gentle cleansing properties eliminate last traces of makeup and impurities. Skin is left feeling fresh and revitalized. It is mild on skin which makes it suitable even for sensitive skin.
Pixi Rose Oil Blend: A delectable silky serum, (Pixi)’s stunning Rose Oil Blend is infused with a powerful complex of youth-boosting oils to enhance elasticity and leave your skin luminous. Rejuvenating and regenerative, the cocktail of sweet almond, rosehip, jojoba, pomegranate seed and rose geranium oils smells delectable – and deep-conditions your complexion; fortifying its fabric to promote resilience, refine skin texture and quickly recapture lost radiance. A gorgeous treatment for anyone concerned with dehydrated, dulled or sagging skin, this ‘feeds’ your cells and maintains moisture levels, so you look years younger and lit-from-within. Glow forth!
Price: 26 $
Qt: 30 ml
How to use: Use AM & PM. Massage 2 to 3 drops onto cleansed, toned skin. For extra hydration & glow, add 1 or 2 drops to your moisturiser before applying.
My opinion about the product: The packaging is extremely pretty, it comes with a dropper which makes it easy to dispense out the product. It does contain rose hip oil as well as a few other oils like orange peel which give it a strong lemony rose fragrance. It is slick, slippery, and quite hydrating. It gets easily absorbed into the skin without leaving greasy effect. This is fine for wearing under makeup. Actually your makeup stays more on applying this oil and your skin remains well hydrated. But keep in mind that this Rose Oil Blend isn’t going to be for everyone as it does contain a few oils that might not be agreeable to sensitive skin types. So if you have a sensitive skin then be careful.
