Patanjali Saundarya Swarn Kanti Fairness Cream| Review

I am a big fan of Patanjali products, I have tried almost each & every product of this brand. Being a college student you always remain in search of economical products. This brand’s products are decently priced & most of the time work for me. From a long time I wanted to to try their Patanjali Saundarya Swarn Kanti Fairness Cream but I was unable to find it in store (Patanjali stores) near my place. Finally I ordered it online & using it from last one month.

Direction of use: After cleansing apply over face & neck.

Packaging: This cream comes is a golden colored jar which has a golden color screw cap. An outer cardboard is also there which has all the required details. The jar is much smaller than the box. It comes sitting in a padding inside the box, so don’t be excited by looking at the box. No doubt it is the most luxurious packaging of Patanjali.

My opinion bout the product: This cream is white in color and has a very thick consistency. This cream doesn’t spread easily and also takes some time to get soaked up into the skin. As it is a Gold cream I was expecting some shimmer or gold flakes but there is no shimmer or flakes. He he. It has an Ayurvedic fragrance which is not a big deal as it is a herbal product. Overall the fragrance is neither good nor bad for me 🙂

I am using this cream from last one month but haven’t noticed any visible effect in terms of fairness. Frankly speaking there is nothing to shock about as in India 99 % fairness claiming products fails to the claims. We live in a fairness obsessed country so there is huge market for fairness products. No doubt this cream moisturizes well & keeps skin hydrated if you have oily or combination skin. But if you have dry skin or in winters it will not to be sufficient. Forget about the fairness this cream will not help even in lightening or reducing blemish(es).

My expectation from this cream was very high as this cream is tagged at very high price (in comparison to rest Patanjali products). Sadly it failed to live up to my expectations. It is just like other ordinary cream which are available in market at the price of 100-200 Rs.
