I am back with the review of one more product of Patanjali Brand. Few days back I reviewed Saundarya Swarn Kanti Fairness Cream on ZZM blog (Click Here to read) and in this post I will be talking about Patanjali Orange Aloe Vera Face Wash. This brand has lots of different type of face washes and cleansers all meant for different skin types. The best thing is that most of them are priced at 45 Rs. These days you don’t even get sample size product is 45 Rs but this brand gives you a full size product in this price.
Ingredients:
Price: 45 Rs
Qt: 60 gm
Shelf life: 18 months
Online availability: Here
Direction of use: Apply on wet face, massage gently for 1 minute with water and then wash. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water immediately.
Packaging: The packaging of this face wash is pretty simple & there is nothing to rave about. This face wash comes in a white colored squeeze tube which has a same colored flip top cap. All the required details are printed over the back of the tube. The cap is a bit tight and shuts well to prevent any leakage which makes it safe to carry while travelling 🙂
My opinion about the product: It is a surfactant free Herbal face wash, made from the natural extracts of Orange peel, Neem, Tulsi & Aloe Vera. As it is surfactant free so doesn’t lather much & I always end up with an extra amount on my face 🙁 The face wash is white in color & has a thick consistency. More than a face wash it looks like a face cream to me. As I said it doesn’t lather much so I always takes an extra amount and after that rinsing it off needs more water. I completely hate this. It has an orange-y, herbal smell which it quite refreshing and mild. I don’t think even people with sensitive noses should have a problem with this type of fragrance.
It thoroughly removes all the dirt, oil and some makeup as well. But not able to take out makeup completely. It definitely gives you a squeaky clean skin but neither controls facial oil nor prevents pimples. It also makes my oily skin dry post application & I need to moisturize my skin. So I think it is not going to suit people with dry skin, I have also kept it aside & will be using it in summers. Overall I think it is an average kind of product (Dekh Behan! Ab itne paise mein itna hi milega 😉 ) which is more apt for summers.
What I like about this product….
- Nice travel friendly packaging.
- Surfactant free.
- Budget friendly.
- Gives a squeaky clean feeling.
- Paraben free.
- Great for oily skin.
- Nice herbal ingredients.
What I do not like about this product….
- It is a soap based face wash.
- Not suitable for dry skin or winter use.
