During my last visit to Patanjali store I bought two body cleanser of this brand. I have already reviewed Patanajali Lemon Body Cleanser (click Here to read). In this post I am going to review Patanjali Neem Kanti Body Cleanser. Hope you guys will like it.

Product claims: Useful in rejuvenating, nourishing and glorifying the skin. Also useful in removing dryness and roughness of skin.

Directions for use: Rub on wet body surface while taking bath.

Packaging: This soap comes in a simple paper packaging which is white and green in color. All the required details are printed at the back of the packaging. I always find packaging of Patanjali products pretty simple & there is nothing much to speak about it.

Patanjali Neem Kanti Body Cleanser: How to use neem

My opinion about this product: This soap is dark green in color and reminds me of herbal soaps like Margo, Medimix etc. It has a strong herbal smell which somehow I don’t like. But can’t deny from the fact that most of the herbal soaps smells like this only.

Patanjali Neem Kanti Body Cleanser : Fragrance

This soap lathers well & does cleansing job effectively. It removes oil, dirt & impurities without leaving any residue. It does not dry the skin and makes it smooth, soft and refreshed. This soap claims to be loaded with goodness of Neem which is known for it’s benefits for the skin i.e. fighting against acne, rashes etc. But I didn’t noticed any such effects of this soap on my skin.

Neem uses and effectiveness

I know this soap is available in dirt cheap price and can’t be compared with any other soap. But the ingredient list indicates presence of Neem, Tulsi, Turmeric etc. which increases your expectation of getting problem free skin. Sorry to that say, this soap fails in doing justice to this expectation.

What I like about this product….


1. Glides smoothly and lathers well.
2. Loaded with goodness of Neem, Turmeric & Tulsi.
3. Easily available on online as well as in local market.
4. Very light on pocket.
5. Suitable for all skin types

What I do not like about this product….

1. Nothing exciting about this soap.
2. Don’t like its fragrance.
3. Not effective against minor skin problems.

    I have used many Patanjali products and can vouch for them..they are great!
    I believe if we are getting better products at cheaper prices why should we not promote them?
