Hello Everyone!
Sanitizers are part of our life since long but this Corona scenario has definitely increase its consumption like anything to keep our family safe. We all are sanitizing each and everything. I have used sanitizers of many brands like MamaEarth, Himalaya, PeeSafe etc. and recently ended up buying Patanjali hand sanitizer. Let me a bit honest, I was not interested in buying it (as never used in the past) but these days finding sanitizer of your choice is bit difficult. So bought the Patanjali one & in this post I will be reviewing the same 🙂
About the product: Patanjali Hand Sanitizer made with a blend of 99% pure alcohol and precious herbs like Neem, Tulsi and Aloe vera which kills 99.99% germs and leaves your hands soft and refreshed.
Price: Rs 55
Qt: 120 ml
How to use it: Squeeze out desire amount of hand sanitizer in your palm then rub hands together thoroughly until dry.
Packaging: The product comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip top cap. The bottle has a round bottom and a long neck which makes it a bit big to carry in the bag. The bottle material is sturdy and spillage proof. The overall packaging is a bit boring but it doesn’t mean it does not suffice the need it is made for.
My opinion about the product: The sanitizer is a gel like liquid which is transparent in nature. It has a really thin consistency compared to the sanitizers from brand like Lifebouy, MamaEarth, Himalaya etc. You need to take coin-sized drop of the sanitizer on your palms and rub them together until they are dry. It easily gets absorbed in skin without causing dryness. It gives the usual cooling sensation that most hand sanitizers give when applied on skin. Good thing is that it doesn’t irritate skin on rubbing.
The product claims to kill 99.9% germs which we can’t find out. One has to be expert on commenting on this part (he he), all we can do is to trust whatever is claimed by the brand. The worst thing is the fragrance which is stopping me to purchase it again. Really has a strong fragrance which stays long & bothers sensitive nose. It is exactly same like Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel (Saffron one). Seems like they have manufactured it my adding alcohol in their Aloe Vera Gel. If you can bear such strong fragrance than you can buy this sanitizer as it is pretty affordable.
What I like about this product….
1. Kills 99.9% germs (Trusting what has been claimed)
2. Easy availability.
3. It is soft on hands, contains ingredients that help prevent skin dryness.
4. Quickly gets absorbed in skin.
5. Travel friendly packaging.
6. Economical.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Very thing consistency.
2. Has a really strong fragrance (I hate it!)
Will I recommend this? No! Go for this only if your nose can bear a strong fragrance.
ZZM Rating: 2/5
