Patanjali Aloe Vera Face Wash| Review

There was a time when whole nation was raving for Patanjali products. I have reviewed many of them on this blog and adding one more feather in the hat. In this post, I am reviewing  Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel Face Wash. There are few thing printed over the tube; No Parabens, SLES, Soap, Dermatologically tested, hydration booster etc. which made me purchase this face wash. No doubt expectation were on higher side 🙂

About the product: Patanjali Aloevera Gel Face Wash is a mild foaming face wash for sensitive skin, made with natural surfactant (derived from coconut oil), Aloevera gel, Mint, Vit.- E, and Aquaporin AQ3 that boost skin hyration, prevents acne and keep complexion smooth, clear and radiant.

Quantity: 60 ml

Shelf life: 24 months

How to use it: Apply 2-5 ml on moisten face, massage gently in circular motion and wash with water.

Packaging: This face wash comes in a transparent squeeze tube with a green color flip top cap. Product is visible and you can see the amount of product left. All the required details are printed over the back of the tube. The cap is a bit tight and shuts well to prevent any leakage which makes it safe to carry while travelling  This brand keeps packaging simple but yet effective. 

My opinion about the product: The face wash has a gel like consistency but not sticky like fresh aloe vera. It is runny in nature and does not lather much. I always end up taking an extra amount and after that rinsing it off needs more water. I completely hate this. It has a smell similar to their aloe vera gel which it quite refreshing and mild. Definitely going to bother people with sensitive nose. Good thing is, it fades away soon. If you have sensitive nose then better to stay away from it.

It thoroughly removes all the dirt, oil and some makeup as well. But not able to take out makeup completely. Post wash, I can’t see any positive effect on my skin. My skin also feels dry that too when I have oily skin which is generally not dry in summers. Definitely I need to moisturize my skin. These days my skin is feeling a bit itchy and I was expecting it too sooth it (due to presence of aloe vera gel). Sadly no soothing effect on my skin. So kind of disappointed with this product and would definitely not recommend it to any one.

What I do not like about this product….

• Add on nothing in your skin care routine
• Not suitable for dry skin or winter use.
