Hello Everyone,
I love playing with colors & this is the reason that I keep collecting eye shadow palette. You can literally create magic with the help of them. Recently I have purchased NYX foil play eye shadow palette & in this post, I will be talking about it.
About the product: It’s all fun and glam games with NYX Professional Makeup Foil Play Pigment Palette. From mixed metals to gem tones, this metallic pressed pigment palette comes in two gleaming assortments that are sure to catch your eye. Each vibrant set is filled with six crazy-pearly colors that are shockingly creamy to the touch. Blending or building these rich metallics to create an intensely foiled eye, face or body look is a breeze. Mix and match tones from either palette (or both!) to customize your eye makeup look.
Price: 15$
Packaging: I bought it online, international shipping does take some time but you have to wait anyway if you are keen in interested in buying international product. This palette comes in black plastic packaging with transparent lid. It is not very sturdy but is not easily breakable as well. It contains 6 eye shadow, I wish it had a applicator & mirror.
My opinion about the product: This palette has 6 shades and they are all shiny. The entire upper row and the middle left are translucent, the rest are more saturated and independent. With this palette you can do a full eye makeup, but best of all, shades from it look like an addition to makeup with matte shadows. They can also be used as a highlight It is this selection of flowers that seems to me the most tender and universal for life. There are two other more creative ones in the lineup 😉
Speaking about the quality, first of all, you need to pay attention that these are pigments! Therefore, they can behave more capriciously than ordinary shadows. They are well tolerated with both a brush and fingers, they are also well stewed. May crumble a little. The only thing that bothers me is the red pigment (which is the bottom right one), it seems to have color in separate pieces, and this can be seen if you look closely (you can see it very well in the video swatch). The durability on the base of them is average, they can’t stand it all day, 4 hours for sure, after 6 they are already steadily slipping. But they do not roll down completely, but slightly into a crease. And do not forget that I have very oily eyelid skin!
ZZM Rating: 5/5
Will I recommend this? Yes! Yes! Yes! I am in love with this palette 🙂
