In this post, I am reviewing Nivea Aloe Hydration Cream. The main ingredients of this cream are Aloe Vera, Jojoba oil & Vitamin E which are known for nourishing & hydrating skin. This cream retails for Rs. 90 but company is offering it for Rs. 49 these days. How can one say “No” to a product at the discounted rate so I instantly grabbed it 😉
Price: 49 Rs
Qt: 50 gm
Shelf life: 2 Years
Packaging: This cream comes in a round, white colored plastic tub & is provided with a white colored screw cap. I found this packaging a bit ordinary. On uncapping the package first time, you find a silver color seal or cap band. You have to tear it off before using. Product’s related information is provided at the bottom of the tub.
My opinion about the product: Generally body creams have a thick consistency but this cream has a bit runny consistency. Once my boy dropped this jar on the floor (cap was open) & cream spilled all over the floor as well as on the bed. So be careful while handling this tub. You can apply this cream on both limbs (upper & lower) but it is also safe to use it on the face. The cream has the consistency of lotion, which is very light on the skin.
It gets easily absorbed in the skin without leaving any greasy effect. It has typical Nivea product smell which doesn’t irritate your senses. It doesn’t claim any big like fairness or SPF, only claims of simple moisturizing cream. You can use it on daily basis.
If you want to apply it before going outside, do not forget to apply Sunscreen also. For me, it is a very decent product for daily use at a very economical price. I don’t expect a lot of thing from this product but what I don’t expect this cream surely fulfill it.
What I like about this product….
1. Light textured and non-sticky in nature.
2. Hydrates skin very well.
3. Easily available.
4. Very effective on dry skin. As it moisturizes well.
6. Travel-friendly packaging.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Some may find a tub or jar packaging unhygienic.
2. Contains parabens.
