Hola Amigos!!!Travelling from Gurgaon/Delhi to Agra and vice versa has been a common practice for me. How much I try to abstain from travelling but still once a month I travel to Agra. Actually my parents stay in Agra, so I have to travel frequently to Agra.
When you travel along NH-2 towards Agra then you can spot a McDonald right in front of Mathura refinery. Although there are many options to dine but if you are a McDonald fan then you got to wait till Mathura. It takes only 30 minutes to reach Agra from Mathura. But I don’t remember a single journey when we haven’t visited McDonald.
This place has it’s own charm with ample parking space, indoor food arrangement and outdoor recreation area. Youngsters as well as people living in Agra and Mathura will find this place as a great weekend spot. If we talk about food then it won’t disappoint you. To be honest I am a vegetarian so I don’t have much idea about their non-vegetarian menu.
But when it’s about vegetarian stuff then they have diverse option to choose from. From the years I am enjoying McAloo tikki burger, McPuff, French fries, veg supreme McMuffin, Aloo wrap, McPaneer royale etc from their menu. This time I ordered McAloo tikki burger, French fries, Chilli Paneer pockets and coke. Chilli Paneer pockets are recent addition to McDonald’s menu for limited time period. As name itself suggest it is spicy and will make you sip coke again and again (We Indian really enjoy this situation. Lol..).
The courtesy of the staff member is also very good, they won’t give you chance to complain. Overall it is a must visit place and if you have limited time then you can then you can go for drive through option. Then only problem with this place is their wash rooms, I don’t know why from the very beginning this place was constructed I find them horrible and unhygienic.

Old memories refreshed. It was 1996 and I was working in a design firm in New Delhi. We did the interior design for McD as they were opening shop in Delhi. Standardization epitomized.
