Last summers I purchased Maybelline White SuperFresh Compact. It is a dermatologically tested & claims to give 12 hrs whitening. This compact has total three shades; Pearl (light-medium), Shell (medium), Coral (medium-dark) with Pearl being the lightest of the three. I picked Pearl shade for myself & in this post I will be spilling my beans on the same 😉

Qt: 8 gm
Shelf life: 24 months from the manufacturing date.
Direction of use: Apply all over the face & neck with the puff provided. Blend well around the eyes, hair line & jawline for a naturally perfect looking complexion.
Packaging: The compact comes in a sturdy all-white plastic packaging, with a handy mirror and a puff for touch-ups. The back however, has all the product’s related details like price, claims, manufacturing date and all that shizz written on it. The outer casing of the product is a white coloured square shape box which is made of cardboard and has blue coloured font over it. The puff is of quite good quality for the price that it is offered at. So overall I will say that the packaging of this compact is cute, sturdy & classy.
My opinion about the product: The pearl shade is meant for light-medium skin tones. It is soft and finely milled enough to not gunk up on your face all at once. The finish is smooth and quite beautiful. Its pigmentation is decent enough to give a light coverage. Do not apply more than two layers to buildup more coverage as it can look patchy. On settling down it gives a matte finish and keeps whatever you put underneath intact.
It claims to 12 hours “White” freshness & I am really confused that what exactly white freshness means. I mean 12 hours freshness can be a good idea but what is the significance of white freshness. It doesn’t stay fresh for 12+ hours but definitely holds its own even in the humid weather.
On & on it is a decent product as you only paying 150 Rs for it. In case you would have paid around 500 or 600 it would have sounded a compete dud.
What I like about this product….
- Nice packaging.
- Very finely milled powder.
- Budget-friendly & Travel-friendly.
- Comes with a good quality puff and mirror.
What I don’t like about this product….
- Limited shades choice.
- Doesn’t control oil.
- Does not cover up any blemishes.
