Hello Cuties!
When it comes about foundation & lipsticks, Mabelline is my favorite brand. Recently I got chance to try my hands on Maybelline Super Stay 24 H Foundation. Just like the liquid inks (you will find reviews on blog), this foundation is also designed for longer coverage and staying power. Maybellline foundations are amazing for daily wear, they gives natural look, coverage and super affordable. This range of foundation is available in 16 shade, I have Classic ivory in my vanity 🙂
Price: 750 Rs
Qt: 30 ml
Direction of use: Apply to the face and blend using your fingertips, a makeup sponge, or maybelline’s makeup blender.
Packaging: The foundation comes in a basic transparent tube packaging. The tube has product details all over it and has a nozzle at the top. Through this nozzle only the foundation comes out. The nozzle is extremely convenient as it allows only a little product at a time to come out. this ensures that there is no such product wastage.
My opinion about the product: The formula of this foundation is creamy and light weight. It is oil-free and breathable. Gives your skin a natural matte finish without drying out. It doesn’t looks heavy or cake-y but it may cling to dry patches if you have any. Beautiful full coverage foundation. It stays put and doesn’t even budge. It doesn’t even slip and slide. It’s like a second skin. An absolute favourite of mine. The most important point is that it doesn’t give flash back during photography. And products used on top of this doesn’t mess up the base and blends wells. For a dewy look, I mix it with liquid illuminator. I moisturize my skin well before using it as this gives a matte and full coverage finish.
When it comes about longevity, it definitely stays put on the skin without creasing. It doesn’t keep the face matte for 24 H (As per brand’s claim). If you have extremely oily skin like I do, expect some shine after around 4 to 5 hours of wear.
ZZM Rating: 4/5
This foundation is good but presence of silicon & low staying power (doesn’t do justice to 24 hours) may bother you.Â
