Direction of use: Firstly, make sure that you moisturize your face well before using this BB cream, since it has a tendency to make the face dry. Always use the cream by dotting it over your face and then spreading it out using your fingers or a face brush. BB creams take about 2-3 minutes to settle down on your skin, so if you initially feel that you face has become white-ish, do not panic and run off to wash your face. If you have oily skin, always follow up the application of this cream with a translucent face powder, which should ideally be applied in a dab and press action.
Packaging: Maybelline Clear Glow all in one BB cream is available in a conventional tube format, which has a light teal shade. The product can be extracted through a nozzle, which is visible after unscrewing the cap. This small and cute BB cream also gives out mostly every information about the product on the tube itself.
My opinion about the product: Let me start by saying that this product is not a very good pick for oily skin peeps like me. For those with dry and normal skin, this cream actually does what it says but oily skin lads should keep blotting papers handy after using this one.
Coming on to its effect. True to its claim, it will help you give a light and sheer coverage to your face, removing the appearance of any fine lines and hiding healing acne spots and pigmentation. Do not expect a full coverage effect from it since this is a BB cream and works well to conceal most of the imperfections on the face. You can expect an even skin tone as you spread this light weight and smooth cream all over your face. The texture of the cream is neither too runny, nor too thick, making it perfect for blending with a brush or with fingers. The fragrance is quite light but fades away after application.
For someone with a normal or dry skin, this cream helps in matte-fying the skin texture and also controls oil, at the same time, adding a brightening effect on the skin. However, the same cannot be said for those with oily skin. Also, the cream is best suited for people with a light skin tone since it tends to leave streaks of white on the face, which would be easier to handle for them. The packaging of the product is travel friendly but the lack of shade options in this range is only going to leave dark tone people hoping.
