This winters, I have used Mamaearth ubtan body butter. This is the only body butter which I have used throughout the winters as it comes in a big jar. I am still using it as my skin becomes more dry in this transition period (winters to summers). So I think it is correct time to review it 🙂
Price: 599 Rs
Qt: 200 gm
Direction for use:
- Scoop out an adequate amount of body butter using your fingers.
Packaging: This body butter comes in a white colored plastic jar which has a screw cap. This jar is pretty huge and also has a plastic cover which provides spillage of the product. The packaging looks pretty simple & ordinary but completely safe when you have a kid(s) at home. Due to it’s huge size it’s difficult to carry it in the bag so I have stored this in a small jar for travelling purpose.
My opinion about the product: This body butter is yellowish (reflecting turmeric as main ingredients) in color and has a very creamy texture. Creamy bole toh ekdum makkhan boss (He He). When applied on skin it instantly gets absorbed which makes your skin nourished & hydrated. Hydration & nourishment while making your skin feel good throughout the day.
Now to say about its texture, I was absolutely surprised as I was expecting a very thick greasy product whereas it was very light weight and non-greasy. Quick absorption without leaving any residue is one more star point of this body butter. You may find it a bit expensive but as a little product goes long way and makes me feel happy as it saves my pocket.
So overall I am pretty satisfied with this and definitely will re-order when needed. Good thing is that it is free of Parabens, Sulphates (SLS), animal-derived ingredients and few other harmful things.
What I like about this product…
- Light weight.
- Quick absorption.
- Vegan product with no harmful ingredients
- Provides required hydration.
- Little amount of product goes long way.
What I don’t like about this product…
- Not really travel friendly since it is heavy.
- Not available in local market.
- I miss “SPF” badly here.
