Hello Everyone!
यहाँ कौन कौन ऐसा है जिसका दिन चाय के बिना दिन शुरू नहीं होता? We Indians are obsessed with the tea फिर चाहे गर्मी हो या सर्दी . You know I’ve been loving the scent and the taste of green tea for many years and even explored other tea options such as fruit tea. When I think of green tea, a tea bag soaked in a hot cup of water comes to mind. Generally, green tea has great antioxidant properties, boosts metabolism and lowers the possibility of certain health risks.

Packaging: I have a 100ml bottle, which is a bit big to carry in the bag or purse. The bottle is a semi-transparent green where you can see the liquid through it. It has a white cap and when you unscrew it you will see a plastic stopper plug at the opening with a small hole for dispensing the product that allows you to shake out a decent amount of product without excess spillage/ wastage. It is a plastic bottle which gives a relief being a mom of a 5 year old boy 🙂 Information about the product is printed over both; bottle as well as on the cardboard box.
My opinion about the product: The product comes in a clear liquid. There’s a hint of green tea + typical toner scent, which is quite pleasing. The scent fades once applied. The toner is watery and absorbs quickly onto the skin. The hydration level of the toner is moderate, enough to keep the skin soft and supple. The product feels light on the skin. This is great for layering a couple of times if you’re practicing toner layering techniques.
When using this toner, I actually quite liked the tea colour and hint of natural tea scent that comes from it if you get a good whiff. What I loved even more was how lightweight and non sticky it is allowing me to layer it multiple times without feeling any buildup on the surface of my skin. Upon application, it feels really refreshing and hydrating and then it absorbs really quickly with no trace of tea colour or staining. I layer it a few times as just one layer sometimes isn’t hydrating enough.
Because of how lightweight and watery it is, I can easily apply it either with my palms or with cotton rounds. Using my palms gives more of a refreshing and hydrating feel whereas using it with cotton rounds gives cleaner and smoother feel.
I did notice that it does sting open cuts and pimple sores a bit, so you have to be careful while applying it on your face. It seems to be doing a good job at regulating my skins sebum production without mattifying it, just keeping my pores clear and my skin fresh, bright, soft and supple.
For my oily acne-prone skin, this is a perfect toner for summer use, and I do like using it during other seasons too but for the colder autumn and winter months I would applying something more hydrating with it. It is also effective in reducing the pores size but not in a miracle mode. Regular use will give you the visible results.
