Packaging: This lipcolor comes in an acrylic transparent tube with a black colored screw cap on which brand name “MAC” is written. The transparent tube also has the name of the shade on it but its easy to spot this lipstick from a pile due to the transparent casing. When I saw the packaging I was quite disappointed, I just didn’t really like that they kept the same lid from their other lipsticks. But shade made me crazy for it. The cap has an applicator attached which has a soft foot padding in an oval shape. The shape of the applicator makes it easy to define the lip color and then fill the lips with the color.
My opinion about the product: It is a deep cranberry red shade. It’s highly pigmented and opaque, only one swipe will give you complete coverage. This is the reason that a little bit goes a long way. In India bride usually wear Red/Marron Lehanga (not every time but mostly this shade is picked) & Dance with me a bridal kind of shade which gonna suit that traditional lehanga color 🙂 It does not feel heavy on the lips, it also dries pretty quickly, which is something I always look for in a liquid lipstick.
This shade is transfer proof & smudge proof, it survives heavy meal. I went for dinner date with this shade on. It didn’t disappointed me, was at place when I reached at home. I do love the formula, I like how thin it looks on my lips and how it wears throughout the day. You will definitely need a good make remover or micellar to take it off completely. The applicator is simply amazing applicator. it gives so much precision and it is super easy to get a flawless application. No doubt the price is on higher side, but worth spending your money on it 🙂
What I liked about the product:

- Matte finish stays on for a long time until removed.
- Does not settle between the lines.

- Availability is an issue as well as price is on higher side.
