Toning is an important part of a skincare routine and is recommended to have a neat skin, free from grease and oils. Toning is the second step after cleansing, and while cleansing makes sure to get rid of dirt, grease, makeup etc on our facial skin, toning makes our skin free of any excess oil or residue of makeup. Additionally, it also maintains PH balance of skin and hydrates it soothingly. So while in search of a good toner filled with effective ingredients, I happened to buy this product from an online store. Let us see how it met my expectations.

Packaging:This toner comes in a clear plastic bottle with a dispenser styled pump spray technique. The plastic cap is transparent and has a tight fit, perfect for carrying while you travel. I love the convenience of mess free application because of the spray dispenser, only the required amount makes its way to the cotton. Also, you can keep a track of how much is left because of bottle’s transparency. So, overall the packaging is perfect.
My opinion about the product: Since I have a partially oily skin, mostly on my T zone, I had to be really careful with the kind of product I use on my face. I am glad I found this first and how it has been pretty effective in these few months that I used it. It perfectly soothes my skin, removes any residue or excess oil left behind by the cleanser. There haven’t been any breakouts since and it has helped me to control the greasiness that the T zone would often get layered up with. The liquid has to be tapped and wiped on to the skin with cotton, making sure you cover all your face and neck.
When it comes to PH balance of my skin, I sure have seen it get better and balanced. Especially in summer season, this was my favorite part of the routine, because it smells so fresh and much like cucumber, so I feel I’m treating my skin with cucumbers. It is a pleasant fragrance and doesn’t stay for long. It is an absolute value for money, since the toner has not yet exhausted and is giving me company.

Recommended? This is a product you can give a try to once, and since skin types are different, the result would vary too to some extent. But in totality, this toner by Lotus Herbals is decently priced and with moderate efficacy.
