In 2015 L’Oréal launched five new True Match blushes that are meant to suit all skin tones. No matter if you have a cool, neutral or warm undertone, according to brand they have shade for everyone. Not sure if they claim that these blushes will suit all the skin tones, or there is a blush for every skin tone. Confused me decided to pick Peach shade out of them & this post is all about it.
About the product: L’Oréal Paris True Match Blush complements your skin’s tone and texture. It coordinates well with True Match makeup, powder, and concealer. True-to-life shades match your skin tone and undertone, leaving you with one of the most natural flushes of colour imaginable.
How to use:
Drunk Blush: Sweep the pigment directly onto the apples of your cheeks and bridge of your nose to create a diffused flush of color. Complete the look by adding leftover product on the brush to the tip of your nose.
Draping: Blend a generous amount of blush onto your cheeks and upwards towards your temples in a c-shape motion. Keep the intensity of color near the hairline and cheekbones.
Subtle Sculpting: Choose a shade with the best natural undertone for your complexion and blend blush in circular motions towards, but not directly onto the apples of your cheeks. Add a touch of blush to the temples and chin to balance your complexion and lift features.
Packaging: This blush comes in a small square shaped box with silver outlines made to it. When you open the compact you will witness 2 section i.e. the 1st section having the blush and underneath the 2nd section having the small brush applicator with mirror attached opposite to it which makes your job easy while on a go. The shade color is visible through the transparent plastic top with silver outline by it side which make this product looks more pretty and girly. The applicator (compact brush) which they have provided with the blush is of decent quality but I mainly use my blusher brush for application for more natural effect.
My opinion about the product: Now come to shade it a brilliant peachy earthy shade, neutral and warm tone. It can add good amount of warmth to your cheeks. It has finest shimmers that almost invisible, but adds a nice sheen to the skin. This shade would flatter light to medium skin tone and give natural finish on the cheeks.
The texture is silky soft, more on the creamy side. Thus it sits on face so well. Pigmentation is just perfect, neither highly pigmented nor chalky. You have to swipe the brush two to three times on the product to catch up the color. You have to layer the product 2-3 times to show the color on the cheeks, thus you have the control over the color payoff. The formula is gorgeous just like any high end product, creamy and silky. It doesn’t look powdery or cake-y at all and sits on the face so well that look like you have natural blushing cheeks. The formula doesn’t clog pores hence doesn’t break me out. It stays put on me for 4-5 hours. After that the color is starting fade away.
This shade is flat matte, so do not except any glossy or sheen effect from it. But I feel that the color and finish makes it perfect for daily wear to work or collage. The thing that really matters is the availability. It is not available in India but if you are living it other part of world then you we buy it easily.
