ColourPop Lippie Stix Candy Paint| Review & Swatches

August 25, 2020 by ZZM Team Leave a Comment

Colourpop launched some new shades in their lippie stix range. There are total 10 brand new shades and I grabbed two shades for myself. I absolutely love ColorPop as generally it never disappoints me but this time it did 🙁 I have already reviewed Trust Me shade of this range (Click Here to read complete review) & in this post I will be reviewing Candy Paint shade.

Colourpop Lippie stix Candy Paint

About the product: Get one swipe pigmentation in a full-coverage, ultra matte finish in a comfortable formula loaded with skin-loving ingredients like shea butter and Vitamin E.

Price: 7 $

Qt: 1 gm

How to apply it:

  • Start with freshly exfoliated lips! prime your lips with our lippie primer for smoother application and more comfortable wear!
  • Line your lips with a matching lippie pencil; this will help you achieve the perfect finished look and give the appearance of fuller lips.
  • Apply your lippie stix and you’re good to go!

Packaging: It comes in a white colored retractable packaging. It has a white cap  and shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the lippie stix.I found lippie stix smaller than Ultra matte and satin lipsticks. This slim lippie stix easily slips in the clutch or bag.

My opinion about the product: The shade candy paint is described as true terracotta. The shade looks gorgeous and it will suit Indian skin tone really well. The formula feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips. It does not settle into the fine lines and does not accentuate dry patches. A really good shade for daily wear especially at work place. You can wear is without worrying much. It is a dupe of Pudra cosmetics Maxi Matt Lip Gloss. Whereas “Trust Me” is a classic super matte red shade which instantly glam up whole look

Two major issues with this product is, the non availability in India and transfer-ability. It literally transfer everywhere even if  you wear a lip liner underneath. The staying power is okaish and stay around 4 to 5 hours as it transfers too much, it tends to fade and then it requires a touch up. So there is nothing much to rave about it. I would recommend you not to take a pain (paying international shipping or custom etc) for ordering this lippie.
