Some times you are damn happy & sometimes you are not. Similarly sometimes you like to wear dark shades & sometimes you like to keep it simple. Keeping this mind lime crime has launched Lime Crime Two Moods Duo Velvetines. I was super excited about this launch, as I never owned such combo. It includes two very different shades for your different moods. One is soft as Marshmallow and the another one is dark as night Raven.

Qt: 2 lipsticks
How to apply it:
- Apply lip balm 15 minutes prior; pat off excessive oils with a tissue.
- Apply Velvetines directly to lips (use a lip brush to refine edges).
- Remove at the end of the day with waterproof makeup remover or oil.
Packaging: Lipsticks come in a cardboard box as you can see in the picture, total 2 lipsticks are there. The liquid lipstick tube itself has a frosted transparent tube with a cap. The cardboard has really interesting prints & looks super chic! The girl printed on it, kind of reminded me of the singer SIA. You must have heard her song Cheap thrills (In India literally every bride was dancing on it).
My opinion about the product: According to brand “Can’t decide between rainbows & unicorns and darkness itself? We got you! All-new radical duo to suit your personal “sugar and spice”-meets-“darkness itself” duality.” So this duo includes two very opposite shades Marshmallow & Raven. Marshmallow is a cotton candy nude & Raven is the darkest color ever made without being black. I was super excited for both the shade & on swatching the shade on the wrist they looked pretty beautiful and promising.
But my lips are not able to wear them, somehow both shades not going with my wheatish skin tone 🙁 Formula too is very liquidity. So you have to be really careful while applying on your lips. They easily go outside the lip lines & makes you look weird.On drying it tightens the lips quite strongly and is not at all comfortable. It is not at all smudge proof, kiss proof (Don’t you dare to kiss any one, as it gonna leave mark) he he. Staying powder too is not impressive, maximum it will stay on your lips for 3/4 hours. The Marshmallow is washing off my face & Raven is like a nightmare to wear especially in India. When I applied Raven shade, everyone was giving me death stare in market. Overall I feel like I have wasted my 3,400 Rs & not all recommend you.
