Hello Cuties!
In today’s post I am sharing 60+ latest sharara & gharara designs 🙂 These designs are basically for wedding or ring ceremony purpose as the designs are on bit heavier side.Â
For those who are new to sharara & gharara let me share a bit information on the basic different between sharara & gharara 🙂
Sharara is a pair of lose, flared and wide legged trousers mostly worn with straight kurti. Howerver these days, it’s also worn with designer anarkali kurti. Isn’t is chic! A dupatta is also there to complete the look. It is pretty similar to palazzo sets with the difference that sharara is embellished with zari, sequins, stones and beads work. Which gives it a royal look 🙂
Where as gharara is pair of trousers/pants that are fitted from the waist to the knees. There is a thick band right above the knees where the cloth is gathered or ruched resulting in a flare till the toes. I have few in my collection 🙂 A gharara is worn with a short length (mid thigh length) kurti or kameez and a dupatta. The traditional gharara generally requires around 12 metres of fabric. Pheww!!! Like sharara, gharara is also embellished with zari, sequins, stones and beads work. Which again makes it royal outfit for wedding or ring ceremony 🙂
